Let’s get some Soul Calibur discussion in here, people. (And keep the flaming to a minimum–you only make yourself look dumb. People have varying opinions, get over it)
Personally, I main Talim, with Seong Mina and Sigfried as my secondaries. As for guest characters; I’m hoping (as a long shot) to see some sweet Master Chief on the Xbox 360 version (his weapon, obviously, being an energy sword–and hey, if STAR WARS can happen, Halo can happen, and lets not forget it’s not Halo’s first foray into a fighting game), either that or Lightning from FFXIII. I dislike a large majority of FF characters, but Lightning is awesome. Tsundere much?

I liked using Yun-seong and Maxi (friggen awesome)
Who do you want as guest characters?
Xbox 360 should get someone like Marcus Fenix from Gears of War. ChainSaw weapon of course. 
What are your pros/cons with the series?
Juggling is sometimes thrown off by the camera, yoda was broken in the last version. My favorite was SC2, so friggen great. I had it for Gamecube and Xbox.
Why do you hate/like it?
My second fighting game after Marvel vs Capcom 2. Love it.
Mains in SC1: Ivy, Lizardman
Guest Characters: Honestly could go without more guests. But since I have no choice in the matter, I would much rather see other Namco guest-stars. How about giving the Tales series more exposure that it could likely use?
Why do I like it? Prior to SC, I used to be a purely 2D fighting game player. Soul Edge (or “Soul Blade” if you will) was a fun game, but not enough to change my mind in this area. But playing SC on the Dreamcast was something magical, as 8WR convinced me of just how different playing a “3D Fighting Game” could be. I was hooked, and spent so much of my time learning the game.
Of course, later games in the series have done a lot to test my love of the original. Won’t go into detail, but I’m sure I’m not alone in this area. It’s just my hope that, if nothing else, SC5 may finally be a game that does for me what its progenitor was able to do over a decade ago.
Who are your mains in the series?
I mained Nightmare in SC2, then went to Siegfried in SC3, I skipped SC4 completely, though if SC5 looks good enough and I decide to pick it up, I’ll probably pick up a new character.
Who do you want as guest characters?
As long as it isn’t idiotic like Star Wars (-.-) I don’t care. I’m fine with guest characters. but at least make them from a fantasy setting.
What are your pros/cons with the series?
I’ll refrain from this section because I don’t think my experience is suitable to talk about what’s good and bad at the core.
Why do you hate/like it?
I like it because it was my first real fighter. I enjoy the characters and the gameplay of SC 2 & 3. Also, I think we need more fighting games with weapons in fantasy settings.
I hate the fact that the community is almost dead for this game. I know of 8 way run and that’s about it. I can’t really blame them, because SC4 was disappointing in my opinion. I won’t argue with people who said they liked it, but I just felt it was a step in the wrong direction. Here’s hoping SC5 redeems the series.
