Might be old news, but I learned this week that University Pinball is reopening this weekend. I’m really excited about this, and will most likely be stopping by Saturday or so.
Anyone else going? I’m always looking for more/new/better competition.

I think…8:00. And it’ll be open until 2:00 AM. I think.
The coffee shop next door to it. I had asked about it, seeing how they had a few machines on but the doors were still locked the other day. She said it was supposed to open Friday.
U Pinball is not open yet, I did manage to catch the owner outside and talk with him for a bit, they’re going to be open on monday at the latest, or possibly sunday. They did NOT get rid of their fighting games, contrary to some of the other talk going round

They got some new redemption games along with new 4 players big boat game which lookked cool
Billy is planning to swtich sf4 screen to 42" LCD and MVC2 BB MBA still there!!!

I went by today. Definitely cleaner inside and what not but jesus christ the sticks on literally every fighter are pretty broken. You’d figure if they can buy a shit load of new games they could replace a simple $20 joy stick. Nope…
I called the owner and asked him some questions but Im probably going to stop by there today, hopefully theres some SSF2T(or hyper fighting) players there but i doubt it(they still using that multiarcade crap and they said if people demend for games more or play more then they will put the original cabs back in with they’re preference of buttons and sticks lol) but currently they use the american style sticks still…BOO!!:tdown: lol

Quick minutes on it:
-Everything is pretty much the same, few new games, all fighters in the same cabs as before.
-Some candy sticks have problems, (SF4 and BBCT tested with some problems, read blog.)
-All batts work fine as they are optical and don’t have a physical switch to them.
-Blazblue is still Calamity Trigger, and not Continuum Shift, go there and voice your opinion, now is the best time.
-I enjoyed my time there.:tup:

Man, kinda a bummer to hear that the sticks are still f’ed up…
…Would they be down if we wanted to, say, donate some new sticks? If so, would any one be down to chip in for them?

went inside yesterday and i must say it was sort of disappointing to see they still have the same screwedup sticks still. But anyways ggs to whoever i played in sf4 and st yesterday as well as tvc.
