wow a HUB thread that’s awesome. that’s my favorite arcade in the whole wide world. a lot of people hate it, but i think its really great and convienient to have an arcade that’s right in the middle of campus, that you can go to in between classes to wind down and cool off. and theres a couple of really amazingly good players down there. it sure beats driving to bellevue which i can’t even do anymore cause i dont have a car now
oh btw, if you want to play at lanwerx, make sure you make a thread such as: “whose going to lanwerx today” so you can let other ppl know you are going to lanwerx. cause otherwise its pretty hit and miss there with the competition. i’ve been to lanwerx a couple of times now, the first time i got to play kuan, and i got my ass kicked, the other times it was VERY hard to find anyone to play, and the people that did I could more or less beat (thats not saying a lot cause im really not very good). so let people know you are going by making a thread, and there will usually be very good players who will show up and give you a run for your money. and the sticks at lanwerx arent all that great either, especially with the diagonal button/stick arrangement layout.

How many people go to Kicks on friday nights during the school year? My mom just grabbed a house at Bellevue so I’ll probably stay mon-friday(morning) at UW and drive to Bellevue/Kicks on friday-sunday(night). Well this is my plan when school starts. In August, I’m staying w/ parents until dorms open so I’ll probably be in Kicks quite often. I’ll have a car when I fall quarter at UW starts and I can probably take 1-2 people so if you guys want to ride w/ me to kicks on friday nights, it’s cool.
ShinX, Mike Savien, is a white guy who wears glasses, has short hair and plays a lot of FF11. On the other hand, warren is a dark asian guy who used to be my ex roomate. warren plays sent/cable/tron with a random style.
last time i saw nolan at the hub was last year. . .still getting incredibly zealous over losses. albeit i haven’t been to the hub since the beginning of the year

anyone know what bus to take to get to lanwerx/kicks-arcade and when everyone plays there? sieu wai. . .the owner of the kicks said most everyone’s there on sats .
Hey what’s up. I just finished all my homework and am going through old post. It’s been a while since UW thread popped up! I just read all 4 pages haha. I’ve came a long way since I posted this tread in high school! Now I almost know everyone who replied =D Good stuff guys. Keep da hub tread alive even though the cabinates are 1/2 dead! Right on first cabinate and lp on 2nd cabinate doesn’t work >.<
Muhaha Rairu!!! Ok I still get owned by you for free, but you don’t count! And you were right. Hub competition was around where I used to be over the summer before I decided to spend 2-3hrs a day at lanwerx from august - october lol.
