The Scrub HUB is probably the best (commercial) place to play Marvel in Washington State.
But as far as 3rd Strike… GameWorks is kind of the only place in the area that I know of.
Pablo, do you have HnK? If so, how do you like it? Do you think Marvel players would like it? I’m kinda interested in that game. 3S is boring and CvS2 is trash. ST is the only other fighting game I like playing right now. So HnK’s captured my attention. Kenshiro and Souther look fun.
HnK is a good game.
My take on the game is slightly biased, because I love me some HnK. It plays like GG, so if you do not like GG’s game mechanics you may find Hnk hard to get into. I myself find the game to be pretty damn fun and find the combo system to be pretty versatile. I believe any marvel player who is willing to learn the game would have a good time because there is some pretty crazy shit you can do. Some combo loops are pretty damn broken, but I guess that is part of the appeal to HnK.
I used to play Guilty Gear XX a longtime ago (during the lanwerx days). I didn’t like it because it seemed like everyone had like ONE combo and that was it. From the videos I’ve seen, it seems like HnK doesn’t have that problem. Seems like until you can link an instant kill, there’s a lot of different things you can do. Very interesting. Plus there’s some crazy broken shit in that game and that’s dope!

oh man. if only woodinville lanwerx didnt shut down. well the problem is, the place is only active during school hours. its dead after 3 pm. it costs 5$ to park if youre a non student, and parking is only free after 9.

You always sucked at marvel. No SVC chaos, but we now have MK 4 revsion 3.9034539 and costs 50 cents to play.
The only good addition we have now is Samurai shodown 3, samsho 4 would have been ideal.

I would be too if i just donated 26 buttons to a place that has fucked up cabs. To top that off they wouldn’t even fix it and they have the equipment to fix it.
