So are regulars not going to be allowed this semester? I need to know since half of team SFSU was comprimised of regulars.
I know I may seem crooked mentioning Eric Lee but I do consider him a Rack & Cue regular.

Regulars are an exception that will be looked into case-by-case. The regulars that attended UB last semester are welcome to participate this time too. I’ll think about Eric Lee.
I wasn’t saying Pat is a regular NOW… I was just using him as an example of a DEFINITE regular in the past… I mean, I thought he was a student for the longest time~~~
just to clarify, i wasn’t mentioning the exceptions because i wanted in…i most likely won’t be here for the event, and i just stepped foot in the bearcade today for the first time in 3+ months.
i kinda like ‘ucb street fighter alumni’ though. i’ll add that to my srk profile.
well i am from UCD
and i cant believe that there is no interest in tekken tag. I am pretty sure that san jose plays that game a lot. and i can muster a team of 4 for the ucd part. there has to be some random tekken players at ucb.
that school cant be all about 2-d games.
i refuse to think that
it’s not. just mostly about 2d games. some people play sc2, i think, like that srayer guy.
no random tekken players last i knew, though.
mmm… hot pot was good
Freakin’ Simon, always keeping the priorities straight. Hot Pot is amazing!
I was just asking if they’ll allow “regulars” because I get bored playing at SVGL all the time. It makes sense to keep it University only. I wouldn’t know which one to play for anyway. I always go to SF State, but I hang out with friends in Berkeley more than I’m at State. Then again, I never go to the Bearcade, so I don’t think I can say I play there. I was at Davis a lot when my friend used to go there, and I lived in SF still. But, now it’s hard to get up there at all. It just seemed like a fun thing to participate in because I’d get to see a lot of my friends from different schools all in the same place. It’s cool, though, keep it straight. We can get a team thing going some other time… or maybe I’ll get my ass back in school.
Maybe I’ll show up to some of them just to see the craziness.
shit, i’ll play tag…
spencer prolly will too if he has the time
that’s two guys from ucb for tag
we got hella koreans at bearcade too
too bad they all play street fighter
i’m hella down for hotpot too
nothing like a big meal after working out with video games for a whole day
Fuggit.
Two-man teams for Tekken Tag side tourney (tentative). Let me know if you can get more. I wanna hear from everyone who’s willing to enter.
i want to play ttt
what about vampire hunter2?? you guys have any interest in that?? if tekken tag can garner some interest hell, vamp hunter can also…
Well, since everyone else is whining for their pet game, I guess I’ll join in the fun
Let’s include ST in the university battle!! Everyone loves ST!!
I’m sorry but what’s the date for this battle again?
UCD has a team of 3 for Tekken Tag
and a team of 4 for MvC 1 if you guys are interested in that game.
No date yet.
Okay Keith, prepare to eat your words. You are hereby the UCB TTT Team Captain. You can probably get a team with you, Spencer, and Au Finh. Organize something and let me know who’s in. This is a side tourney of sorts, so it will most likely be the first tourney to be run. Which means players will have to be punctual (Mr. Keith Ho, hrm-hrmm!). Tim–please make sure you can secure those three players (nobody drops out at the last second). TTT is now in the mix–any other schools wanna step up?
haha fine fine
making me the team captain also ensures i’ll be there early to record… how convienent… :T
how many to a team? 3 or 4?
well i know spencer and aufinh will be interested, but we’ll probably need a set date before people can think about committing themselves to a team.
same goes for everyone i guess… it’s pretty hard to say right now who’s gonna be available since none of the bearcade players have their schedules yet.
Nor Cal Regionals 2 is in the middle of February, so I guess we should move this to March?
will the ‘side tourney’ be a part of the ‘2 game (or was it 3)’ restriction?
if not, i will play for ttt spot.
haha
if this is moved to march then it should be called UB Spring 2004 for UCD (probably don’t want it happening before or during finals… which is about mid march)
