Like you suspect i’m not talking about what youy mention. the only way you can land an ultra off a fa is by the method you mention, and thats only off a level 3 FA i believe.
no that link doesn’t show what we’re talking about. The person asked how to ultra off a focus attack, not a dash. The video shows the dash.
Listen here son, you’re talking shit. The guy asked How do you ultra off a focus attack at any level. He didn’t ask how do you ultra after a dash. so no, you can shut the fuck up and check your facts. The hit pause on level 2 and 3 focus attacks prevents the input you described from working. The only way to land an ultra after a focus attack is to use a level 3 focus attack, dash then charge the ultra and release as they hit their knees.
that combo doesn’t even work so again, shut the4 fuck up and stop making shit up.
…so then it is possible to do? What’s the problem then, was it the guys asseryion that you could charge before the FA attack, rather than after?

Well firstly the input he gives doesn’t work in either scenario, so even if he was answering the question asked his answer is flat out wrong.
Secondly, the difference between charging before and after the FA is like night and day because you will never land a level 3 FA on anyone who has played the game for more than 5 minutes. You will however land plenty of level 1 &2 crumples after which you cannot ultra without linking off a normal.
LOL, and make sure you get that combo on tape, i wanna see cr.lk > cr.lk >cr.mk in action.

mullah, c. lk, c.lk, c.mk -> ultra does work BUT only works on counter hit. Viscant did it to me at a tournament and killed me for the win with it. That moment after we played in losers finals was when I figured out the properties of counter hits, lol. Doing it without counter hit is impossible, as far as I recall, though.

Corner jump back.hk ->ultra (works) (gozhard350)
focus -> Ultra
as you can see. m.k is the only way i know… (and its no easy, cuz you need timing as hell) (but its possible)

we need videos for these. mainly the cross up j.mk,c.mk->Ultra and jump back hk-> ultra. I havent seen those yet. I dont think cross up ultra would work. there isnt enough charge time.
if you can do j.mk, c.mk >> ball, ultra version is the same. You got to begin to charge as soon as you jump.
j.HK to ultra in the corner is really piece of cake :bgrin:
when you jump foward… you are already charging, while cross .m.k, you still charging…
then l.k, m.k (crouch and charging) then ULTRA
its not that hard… just need practice to master it !
when you cross somebody up you lose your charge…
and its already been understood c.LK only links to c.MK on counterhit, which is not what is happening in a jump in situation…

Counter hit doesn’t add hit sun to subsequent moves within a combo so no you are wrong, and you’re remembering how you lost incorrectly. counterhit cr.lk >cr.mk > ultra works, but dickhead wasn’t talking about counterhits, and he certainly was talking about 2 lk’s and then a mk. i’ll wait for the video which will never arrive. :tup:

you’ve never done crossup mk, cr.mk x ball so why are you sitting there typing about it and giving false information? also they don’t all work so perhaps you should keep quiet until you know exactly what you’re talking about before you send the next couple of noobs who read this thread off to waste their time trying to get hese combos down.

You’re right. Now that I think about it, he must’ve done c. lk, i press something for counter hit to activate, and then he finished me with c. lk, c. mk to ultra. that makes more sense now.
P.S. Can’t believe this guy still thinks its possible, lol.
I can’t decide who gets the worst trolls between Blanka and Sagat’s forum. The latter has all those wonderful ban/OP threads, but this one has to deal with the “Please rate my random slide/rainbow ballin Blanka” threads, and stuff like this.
@Chinaman: I believe CH adds +3 frames to hitstun (assuming it doesn’t knockdown, of course).
Just so Im clear on this the final concensus is that the only way to ultra out of a focus attack and have it connect is to link cr.mk->Ultra like in his 4th hard trial or to dash out of the focus ad start ultra when they hit their knees?
Also why does everyone keep saying blanka j.mk cr.mk Ultra doesnt work when its his 4th trial? I mean I know its hard, probably impractical in a match setting, but its not impossible by any stretch of the imagination.
