MB also didn’t have crossups and it was fine.

-but basically, if you cross the opponent in the air (mekuri), he don’t have to change direction that he’s blocking. But some characters can change sides in the ground (hyouri). Linne, Hyde, Seth and Hilda…and this do affect the direction you have to hold to block.
I play Melty. Melty does have cross ups. What are you saying?

Well it does but it doesn’t kinda, you have to set up Cros sups for the most part, if you try to cros sup normally it just doesn’t work.
It has cross up protection against the most common situation where crossups are used in a fighting game, which is attacking at different points when moving above the opponent in the air.

To spark a little discussion: Who will you pick as a main and why? I’m picking Seth because I’m an offense-oriented guy and because I absolutely LOVE his design. I play Order Sol on GG, I just love rushing & mixing things up. My weakness is still in my spacing game (in airdashers or what some would call “anime fighters”), and I always main characters that will put my forces on the forefront of my game. I don’t really mind having a weak neutral game.
I’ve dropped Balrog in SFIV in favor of Makoto & Yun, dropped Jin in favor of Bullet & Noel in BBCP.
As for his design, what’s not to love about him? Twin daggers? Checked. High-collar coat? Checked. Short dude like me? CHECKED! Plus blue is my favorite color.
BTW- I’m importing the game from play-asia. And all I have to say is that if you know many people around your area that wants to get it, I suggest applying for the wholesale program and make a mega collective order. It makes the game cheaper & shipping + handling fees will cost next to nothing with everybody chipping in.

Yay, I get to talk about myself.
I’m going to be an Akatsuki player. I like playing the cool-looking, stoic, serious types in fighting games. Character loyalty and all that. I also like how he fights primarily using bare-handed martial arts, the next best thing after katana. Not too privvy to his playstyle yet, though.
Outside of him, I plan on also playing Hyde, Elthum(beautiful combos), Yuzuriha, and Nanase.
Naturally, I’ll dabble in other characters, but the aformentioned are top priority. I have never been fond of so many characters in a single fighting game. It’s crazy. /end
Hopefully Nyu can get that PC port in the works. Maybe a PS4 port as well. Good news either way.
After talking to Seon for a bit, you’ll be surprised at what he has in stored if things pull through. Nothing related to UNIBEXEL but unexpected nontheless. The thing he’s currently working on is something I feel isn’t going to take off as one would hope but I’ll still support it regardless. I’m still poking at him about UNIBEXEL though.

Sorry, I can’t get more into it since it’s nothing official. I can say that Nyu-Media was interested in Big Bang Beat Revolve but I was told that dealing with Alice Soft is very…hmmmm, difficult so it never took off.
I hope MikuruX means that the surprise is that Nyu Media will release and localize Rance Quest and Rance 9 for Steam
