UNC Charlotte SF4 Fridays (Every Friday)

Just trying to promote fighting games in general at UNC Charlotte. If you go to school here, I bring my Xbox 360, two fight sticks, and some controllers for the weird people so we can fight it out. I play in the upper levels of Norm’s in the Student Union. The games I currently have are Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting, and BlazBlue. However I have had people bring Tekken 6 up so if you want to play it, bring it and we can pop it in. I started a group on facebook to help promote my cause. There is no fee to play since it’s all casual. If you know someone who goes to school here, please inform them of my group cuz I think this could grow to be something big. I play every Friday and unless the weather prevents me from walking there, I usually am set up at about 9 am. I tend to stay late unless it’s completely dead.

Yo! Unfortunately I work Friday’s and don’t get back til like 11:00pm. If yall play late I can try to make it through.

Fortunately, What I have been doing for a while is having cats from Charlotte/NC come through and play at the scott hall basement Saturdays or Sundays (depending on how I feel). We usually have about 3-4 set ups and play more than SF4 so we can prep for upcoming tournaments and the like. My friend Brian has also been hosting at his house on Wednesdays (but were thinking about alternating every other weekend).

Lots of Charlotte people still meet up on Fridays and Saturdays at UNCC. PM Hero (Fridays) or Darklight (Saturdays) if you want more info.
