Thought this was just me as well, since the recent upgrade I was lost my avatar and wasnt able to upload a new one. Hoping for a fix soon.
How the hell does Gravatar even work?
you make an account with them and upload an avatar on their site, then come back here and use the gravatar option.
I’m getting a “no avatar exists on that email” message
go to “add a new image” and you should upload an avatar for that said email

you should see this and once you uploaded the av you have to choose what rating you wanted it posted in G/PG/etc.
you come back here and test/upload, also note that avs don’t instantly change it takes an hour or two for them to be implemented. Use the email you used on the gravatar site (primary)
Yes I have that screen I guess it really does take a bit before they’re added?
It does, like an hour or two. I tested 3 avs the last 3 days.
Hope there is something in the works to fix this. 
I’m fine with KB limitations and such but if I can’t have animation… D:

I have the same problem as funbags. I uploaded an avatar on Gravatar yesterday, and it’s still not working for me.

Im having this same problem. Im not going to register this gravitar shit, and especially if it’s not going to accept animated gif or rescale to 200x200 (if its smaller).
Why is it that my old avatar doesn’t show up anyways? It used to be just a picture of sf3 akuma rolling from a hit in the air.
edit- I tried using the same 200x200 image converted to .tff, .gif (not animated), .jpg, .png etc. as well as a smaller animated gif and nothing worked.
