Both sides are intransigent. The SJWs are, fairly, asking for better conditions at said events. The other side is wanting, also fairly, to keep events the way they fell in love with them. However, SJWs are going to win. Time changes things, and anyone who tries to fight change is in for a losing battle. Event organizers are caught in the middle wanting to add a new demographic while trying to appease an already existing one.
I don’t have solutions but I do know eventually those wanting to be treated fairly will win out. I don’t know about the extremes, though. Wanting to put a burka over Lara Croft just makes them look silly.

The U.S. has a Constitution protecting us from said censorship by government, but Twitter is 100% within their rights to shut you the fuck up. Male victims of rape are not technically classified as rape victims due to the legal definition only recognizing penetration as the only viable means to rape someone. Men who are forced to penetrate or envelopment are not classified as rape victims. As for DV, multiple studies have shown men and women are near equal victims of DV and it’s far more then hitting on the shoulder.

Explain to me how domestic violence and rape, is an equal or greater problem for men…even taking into account prison rapes, many women are raped in prison as well, by inmates and prison guards…but the key thing here is that men are raped mostly by other men, not women. Women are raped mostly by men. Prison rape is not an issue of equality, it’s more of a general humanitarian issue that needs to be addressed.
Hopefully not since they are approaching almost everything in a terrible way. The really fucked up thing about it is that they can’t seem to decide just when is it a good time for a guy to find them attractive. Governments can only ignore how we talk to ourselves in it for so long. Especially if that includes provable harassment. It makes no difference whether or not it was valid, but some people decided to harass those two twats and members of their team harassed others. This isn’t a personally feelings issue so much as them forcing an eventuality. How it should be addressed if at all is a seperate discussion altogether; either way those aren’t really the ones we want going to bat for important discussion on a very complicated issue.
