Thing I noticed, when the crowd favorite loses to another top player or random that used Yun, doesn’t matter is the Yun players is good, the commentators have to indirectly point that Yun is overpowered, the stream starts complaining etc. But people forget how good Viper is versus Seth when it’s USA vs Japan right? USA, USA, USA, would be interesting that Latif switched to Yun.
A Downward Icicle Sword stab. I’d want it to OTG of course. otherwise it just wouldnt be neccesary. Low frame, maybe not but have some decent ground bounce, I think it’d be sweet. although I do love Setsuizan
I think there was something similar in the Megaman Zero games. There was also a downward dive that in contact with the floor it would shoot two electric balls to opposite directions horizontally moving on top of the floor. That would be so cool too.
So what does a soft knockdown Zero Buster mean to his game? I ask because I wondering if it’s viable to play as Zero without holding down a button now. Yes, this is a serious question.
Buster is still an amazing tool. No changes to priority, speed, damage, hitstun, nor hitbox have been told to us, so it’s still amazing. The only nerf to it is if you land a hit, it’s like Cable’s gun, you get shot but if you don’t decide to Raikouzen to continue the combo or L Hienkiaku (or in Cable’s case AHVB), the enemy is free to move rapidly. In vanilla the buster resets the other characters momentum and allows you to set up.
I think it’s still gonna be better if you hold down a button to have your buster always charged.
So, can Zero self OTG now? Since I hear he can cancel buster from specials.
I hadn’t thought of that but that’s a really good question. The window to hit someone from the OTG of Sentsuizan is really small though, and you wouldn’t be able to combo as much off of it because it would be a grounded buster after landing from Sentsuizan (unless of course you can hit with the Sentsuizan and still cancel before landing)…this is really interesting…
That is a really good question. He probably can actually. Canceling j.C into buster is also going to be nice. Lots of wacky double overheads and stuff. Also gonna make comboing into buster easier off random air hits…
I’m really liking the new Zero, I hope he stays as is now.
I would like to see the ice sword dive, but we already have a sword dive so that would seem kinda redundant. Maybe give him a command to summon an E-Tank for meter… like down down S for 1 meter drops a little life recovery unit like roll did in TVC lol

Actually screw that give me MMZ3 Hard mode Zero. 1 Non-chainable sword attack and a level 2 maximum charge buster. I’m winning Evo 2k12 with that.
Just gives us Black Zero with the purple saber from X4. The morale boost alone would be enough.
I remember that from Megaman X Command Mission, it was Zero’s first hyper mode.
Zero needs a Z-knuckle command grab that steels a move.
