I only say that because I read somewhere that Dante’s assist got nerfed, or at least I think I read it somewhere lol. Can you confirm that it has the same properties? I haven’t seen it in any umvc3 footage, though I haven’t seen a lot haha.
I saw the move but didn’t see the relaunch. i thought it might not have been possible due to the quicker knockdown it mentions.
He already couldn’t block during air dash; at least at the beginning he couldn’t, but I’m not really sure how blocking during dashing works in this game. He can block during the end of H command dash, though (in vanilla).
He could absolutely block during his air dash and he should have been able to since it’s slow as hell. If they too that away that’s funny.
Zero is going to be a much better zoning character now with all of these upgrades. Before he had trouble controlling vertical space but the way you can cancel Lighting C and B make it so he can now effectively control that space on the screen where before he needed to sacrifice an assist spot to do so.
Not to mention the ability to Buster after Dive kick is just stupid along with the increased range on the dive kick. It removes another assist slot he needed to make his air throw combos and otgs easier making him a more well rounded character.
I see a lot of people cheering about Teleport into buster but if Zero’s teleport is slower it’s going to become EVEN easier to option select throw him out of his teleport cross ups. One of Zero’s biggest weakness is the fact his teleports(well hold up they aren’t they are command dashes) his command dashes have zero invulnerability to anything and there are free throws every time he tries to dash through you.
What these Zero buffs tell me is that Zero is really about controlling space on the screen in UMVC3. He could zone decently well before but now he’ll be able to do it much better.
Zero really got no legit nerfs so far either:
-Lightning Loop was impossible to do IRM and was super expensive so that’s no real loss
-Corner Shadow loop was only used off of DHC trick which is now gone so it wasn’t going to be useful anyway
-Losing Hard KD off of buster makes no difference honestly because how often do you let your opponent touch the ground after buster shot?
-f+C Loop was useless
-They fall faster after buster shot, makes no difference but I’m guess this isn’t the case and the TVs were just a bit laggy.
- The delay fall BBC jump loop was dumb and useless too many hits kills the damage scaling on his combos
I
It does make a difference, and yes it is the case, and no the TVs were not laggy.
Sorry my bad it makes no difference to a good player and I’m sure you did lag testing on the monitors as well. Even the NYC fightclub monitors had lag so I don’t want to hear that you KNOW there is no lag.
Hahaha, you must be that ‘Zero The Shadow’ from Tekken Zaibatsu. Must you bring your dumb shit all over the Internet? If you aren’t going to post anything productive then just go away with your idiocy. At BAM every game station had the same BenQ monitors that are ALL confirmed lagless. So before you spew out dumb accusations, get your facts straight. I played the game extensively, have you?
Confirmed lagless? Oh yeah you mean like the EVO monitors…which have lag. You know who I am, I’m glad. Seems that you just like the rest of Australia like to start shit for no reason. What about me questioning the legitimacy of the how fast they fall is so offensive to you anyway? Nothing in my post was at all malicious but you came after me.
Oh also maybe you are forgetting WHO ELSE HAS PLAYED THE DAMN GAME. ME! And there was no difference in how fast they fell AT ALL when I played it at NYC fightclub Never once did I drop a lvl 3 buster dash up combo once. There was lag on these monitors too and I had no problem landing it every single time which makes me believe you just missed your combos and thought “man something MUST be different”
Since you aren’t thinking straight I’m gonna enlighten you. If they really were falling faster than it’s be harder A LOT harder to do buster into lightning A but that’s also not the case. What I see in your video is you just botching a a teleport and missing your combo cause you do it waaaayyy too slow. The fall speed seems exactly the same and it felt the same at NYC.
So I’m unconfirming that right here and now. You fall no faster from lvl 3 buster.
Why do I bother with this guy.
You guys are gonna make Fluttershy cry.
Just ignore Sleeper Zero. He’s known for being wrong most of the time, yet he defends himself like a tool.
You don’t fall faster. I just think that the shot doesn’t launch you as high.
The opponents definitely drop quicker than in Vanilla. Though it is something we can be accustomed to easily when Ultimate hits.
Landing a throw resets the buster charge so i’m guessing that Zero will not be able to otg and continue the combo alone after an air throw

Dibs on MMZ alt.
i think we are all going to play that color. But i will also try out viles
i wish they would have went with the green vile from x8 and given zero red hair.
The white and blue one. So. Sick.
Glad my classic black/orange one I use in vanilla is still there. Really like that purple/yellow too.
Should add these new colors to the buff list. They’re that badass.
