Not surprised that he can self relaunch either, the Buster cancel appears to be extremely lenient. I wonder if Buster being able to cancel specials means that you can use it to cancel his launcher. Maybe not but the dude sounds unbelievable at this point

Sitting back at full screen and chucking lightning and hadangekis (with assist behind them)? Zero for best zoning character.

Zero is already pretty decent in zoning/running away…
we should take our time and get the most we can from Ultimate Zero… I sense he’s being nerfed soon… LOL

omg finally some zero new i have been waiting since the announcement for some hard facts, i just hope the make the online decent or else it still won’t matter about all his buffs ill have to stick to basic bnb’s because dropped frame’s are horrible

Dante j.C spam + shippuga > hammer > cold shower > stinger > hammer > j.C spam + tatsu > hammer was one of my favorite things to do in the corner. Now neither is possible. Maybe it still is if you do hammer fast enough. Want to test so bad.

The way it looks now is that it pops them up like twice as high as normal and they recover in the air.

I never really had a problem with zero’s combo’s online, I really think he needs a little more damage on his BnB’s though.

I just wish they would give him a worthwhile assist, but its not a big deal, definitely gonna try to build a zero team in ultimate.

you can get enough damage from zero, with a extensive worthwhile BnB but not online at least I can’t, i can do them when i play offline with friends not problem but when i go online i have to stick to basics…

Online it’s impossible to play zero or at least you have to dumb down your combos.

Between buffs and nerfs, I feel like Zero is still coming out on top. X-Factor air activation could get pretty insane. If the netcode is improved enough, things should be fun.

oh i guess i should have made myself clearer. What i mean is that If you are used to play offline and then try to play an online match the transition can be traumatic, especially if you use Zero.
Obviously if you are used to play online you’re ok.

I play Zero online a lot, he’s ok online, most usual combos are possible if the connection to your opponent is fine.
He suffers a lot less in combo department than magneto for example.

What really hurts zero is that his gameplan is to be safe all the time by using buster when needed, online you’ll have a much harder time hitting that time correctly and your busters will whiff a lot more than they would offline… at least for me this is the main problem…

I can do relaunches, double lightdash finishers from assists and DLoop from DHC glitch just fine online, lightloop I can’t consistently do even offline…

the only combo I seem to drop a lot more online than offline seems to be the normal jump loop, but I can live without it.

sometimes really bad connection lag online just make zero’s mixup easier to see, offline he is so fast.

That Zero is amazing. Mine is nothing compared to that, guess I have to do a lot more research than I have been.

So I was just at Battle Arena Melbourne today and we had the TGS build of UMvC3, I took my PC and recorded a staggering 700GB+ of UMvC3 footage. I tested out pretty much all of Zero’s changes, tried old combos, new setups, etc. I must say though, UMvC3 feels a lot different to Vanilla. I’ll write up a full impression post later on, but now I’m just going to sort through all this footage (over 4 hours, mainly all Zero stuff) and post some videos on YouTube of my findings with Zero.
