Phoenix Wright

  • cr.H in Turnabout Mode now hits low
  • Bad Evidence is completely removed
    • Meat can be accessed with QCB+S in Investigation Mode
  • Increased range & damage on all moves in Investigation & Trial modes
  • Damage that Maya sustains while she’s shielding Wright now scales
  • Maya Shield can now take 350,000 damage before falling out
  • Faster start-up & recovery on Bridge to the Turnabout
  • Turnabout Mode lasts 60 real-world seconds
  • The Ace Attorney now does 700,000 damage
  • QCF+S = Get 'Em, Missile: same properties as the assist, can be used in all 3 modes
  • Maya’s entering & exiting animations are now faster
  • Wright’s Slip-Up now OTG’s, is easier to cancel into a hyper, mode change, or any other move

Here’s an interesting idea for (separate from the patch ideas)

How about that you can pick the good evidence you want before the match (after the assist select). You sill have to pick up the evidence in the match, but you’re guaranteed the evidence you want during the match

I think I got some good ideas, Lets start off with the System changes.

**TAC’s: **
**- **Remove TAC infinites
- Create a larger window for TAC breaks, create a timefreeze moment with a bright color flash corresponding with the direction
- If TAC is countered, the opponent who initiated it receives 150k damage loss and put into a soft knockdown state.
**- **The opponent who countered the TAC flips back and gets reverted to neutral
**- **The opponent who countered the TAC also gains 1/4 of hyper meter

X-Factor:
-Decrease damage boost percentage on XF2 to 115% and XF3 to 130% for everyone across the board. Speed values remain the same.

Character Changes(Copied list from Chrisis, those that are marked are those that I’m against and those that are bolded are my own ideas)

Akuma:
+Allow Akuma to cancel specials into demon flip.
[S]+Air tatsu hits overhead.[/S]
+ Add additional level 3, preferably Misogi.
+ Increase health to 850K
+ Messatsu Gohadou can be XFC’d into another Messatsu Gohadou

Amaterasu:
+Reduce recovery on weapon switch, both ground and air.
+Slightly increase base damage and thus meter gain.
+Cold Star Air Okay.
[S]+Projectile counter reflects beams.[/S]
+Projectile counter turns beams into meter

Arthur:
+[S]Gold armor rework, Does not break unless Arthur gets hit. Soft knock down on break.[/S] Gold armor allows him to dash, dash speed is around Haggar.
+Gold armor breaks back into regular armored arthur.
+Remove underwear gimmick alltogether

C. Viper:
-1 more frame of start up on seismic hammer.
-EX moves do not build meter on hit/block.
-EX Seismic hammer costs 2 meters.
-Reduce base damage and thus meter on all normals, specials, and hypers by 10%.
[S]-Increase time necessary to charge optic laser.[/S]
+Burning kick has less recovery, air does not guard break.
[S]+Optic Laser assist replacing thunder knuckle assist.[/S]
[S]+Allow DHC into EX Seismic hammer.[/S]
+Increase Hitbox or whatever the heck is wrong with her standing :S:[S][/S]

Chris:
+Give him an air 6C like his air 2C, except horizontal.
+Allow him to throw grenades while in the air.
+Make Incendiary grenade an assist over boulder punch.

Chun Li:
+Remove all recovery from Kikoken and increase its durability.
+Increase health to 950K.
+ Kikosho Hyper hits off the ground, or add frank west like roundhouse kick as a command normal that otg’s and can be canceled into Kikosho or Hoyokusen

Dante:
[S]-Reduce duration of Jam Session very slightly. Primarily for the assist.[/S]
+2A start up to 6 frames.
+Dramatically increase speed of Jet Stream horizontal movement for better carry on block, increase block stun, and make the window for both Crazy Dance and Fireworks earlier.
-Reduce thunder bolt base damage and number of hits (should function similarly outside of X-factor because of number of hits, but make it less insane in XF)
+Devil Trigger dramatically increases the window for Fireworks and Crazy Dance, allowing all moves that can be canceled into either to cancel earlier and for longer.
[S]+Devil Trigger returns Acid Rain float to vanilla status (can’t be used for meter this way, but becomes way more insane as a tool for setting other things up.)[/S]
+Increase Multilock start up, but allow Dante to continue to charge it while he does other things[S], including block.[/S]
- Fix Jumping :S: hitbox, still hits behind Dante
+Devil trigger health regeneration is 25% faster
+Increase bold cancel window by 5 frames

Dormammu:
-NO CHANGES NEEDES

Felicia:
[S]+Slightly increase base damage and thus meter gain.[/S]
[S]+Ask Crispytacoz for better buffs to put her at the desired balance level.[/S]

Firebrand:

-Can’t say, I don"t know much about the character

Frank West
+[S]Make drinking give him the equivalent of a 5 hit combos worth of experience toward leveling instead of a bonus for the pictures he takes. Still induces vomiting.[/S]+Air Camera does not guard break.
-Increase startup on standing :S:
-Increase recovery on standing :S:
-Reduce vertical hitbox on crouching :H:
-Level 4 and 5 frank west are timed to 15 seconds each, afterwards Frank West reverts back to level 3. Time does not reset after being tagged out. If Frank gets to level 5 from level 4, the timer is reset.

Haggar
+During active frames 623A has hyper armor to projectiles.
+Add anti-air super

Hsien Ko
+Increase walk speed.
+Increase air run speed.
+Make Pendulum cancelable.

Jill
+Increase base damage and thus meter gain slightly.
+Reduce Feral Crouch start up by 2 frames.

Morrigan
-Shadowblade hit/block stun reduced very slightly.
-Reduce duration of Astral Vision by 25%.
+Air Shadowblade does not use her air dash, and does not force her to leave flight mode.
-Reduce base damage and thus meter gain of Soul Fist.
-Meter Gain is reduced by 50% while astral vision

Nemesis
+Armor is immediate on armored moves.
+All light attacks start up slightly faster.
+Level 3 has hyper armor and has 2 frame start up.

Phoenix Wright
+Make 236A into an assist, replace press the witness.
+Remove the chance to get non functional evidence, give all the ‘bad evidence’ effects even if they aren’t as strong as the good evidence.
+All normals faster and slightly larger hitboxes.

Ryu
+Throws groundbounce for solo meterless follow ups.
[S]+Air tatsu hits overhead.[/S]
+ Denjin super is air ok

Spencer

  • air A+S zips cancellable into one another in the air for better mobility.
    +Health buff to 1,150.
    [S]+Air version of Bionic arm straight down similar to bionic bomber.[/S]
    +Increase block stun just enough on Atk+S zips to prevent being thrown. Spencer is still susceptible to thrown on whiffed zips

Strider
+Slight Increase base damage and thus meter gain across the board keep overall damage very similar to current level, but more meter gained while dealing it.
+Allow Formation B summon and release in the air.
+Allow Formation B release to cancel all specials.
+Legion gets hyper class durability, regular specials should not beat it for free.

Trish
[S]+Increase base damage and thus meter gain.[/S]
+Peekabo functions normally even late combo, slightly decrease its hold time over all.

Tron Bonne

Zero
-Reduce minimum damage scaling values on specials.
-Slightly decrease base damage to decrease meter gain.
-4 more frames of recovery on both ground and air Busters. Should still be fine for combos, but less strong in neutral.
+Remove the single command dash per jump cap.
+Give back multiple light buster shots while airborne

Captain America
+Give an air special that moves him down forward with a hitbox.
+Reduce recovery on all normals slightly.

Deadpool
+Give him [S]6[/S](4) teleports before the explosion.

Doctor Doom
[S]-Reduce base damage across the board and thus meter gain.[/S]
+Slightly increase walk speed and ground dash speed.
+Reduce flight start up.
+Hidden Missiles Shoot out in rapid succession
-Hidden missiles tracking is significantly reduced

Doctor Strange
[S]+8 way air dash. Current Iron-Man variety.(Hellno)[/S]

Strange doesn’t even have the normals to be abusing a high-low game like Magneto or Storm can, so I think an Iron Man-style airdash wouldn’t make him totally broken. Try him out in H&H with the airdash card, it’s the most awkward thing ever. His j.L is so stupid.

no that will make characters like thor even worse and jean/vergil will become broken because of the boost you give them.

What do you guys think about removing the meter gain from the Astral Vision clone and not Morrigan herself? Also removing the HK + Ground bounce from :s: Foodive could probably be a buff in Doom’s damage output, wouldn’t it just be better to remove the ground bounce since it seems to be the main culprit.

as if it’s somehow a bad thing to nerf the character tied with dr. strange for best in the game?

The CVS2 version was the best. SVC one was ok also.

The Nova DHC glitch needs to be fixed because it’s a game breaking mechanic that should’ve been removed immediately regardless of ‘sales’.

And though I don’t really want changes to characters too much, I would advocate a slight modification to Vergil. The round trip glitch needs to be removed (if it is a glitch). But the only major change I’d be cool with is perhaps hi getting a damage nerf. He is one of the most damaging characters with the hitstun deterioration of Viper. While I wouldn’t want to make him a worse character in terms of nerfing the other properties of his moves, I’d just rather he had to work that slight bit harder to kill people, much like how Dante has to now in Ultimate. Especially considering how effective but simple he is.

So much buff my character here the game is fine as it this - besides Vergil.

its uneven, I want every character to get the same boosts as vergil

Arthur’s Gold Armor needs a heavy rework. His health is ass anyway, so you should be TOD’ing him. I say Gold Armor lasts UNTIL he gets put into a hard knockdown state via an opponent’s combo. He can keep it if he receives a stray hit, but a real combo should downgrade him. I think the same principle should be applied when transitioning from Normal mode to Underwear mode.

Akuma needs MORE supers. In Street Fighter, the thing that really made him different from Ryu was his plethora of supers. In this game, he should have air projectile supers, Raging Demon (both air-ok), Misogi, Uppercut super, and that odd one he got in Street Fighter 4 (Ultra 2).

If we are going to take the “Make everyone Vergil tier” approach, give Dorm his Vanilla Flame Carpet back. That would be so sick.

I almost want to make Ammy a one-stance character. But then again, part of the style in her combos is her stance changes. Sadly, it is that exact style that limits her from being top tier.

I don’t think you get it, it wouldn’t make Vergil better. He stays the same, frankly I think THOR could use the speed increase more than a damage increase. Hell a lot of the time the speed increase allows for things to connect that wouldn’t previously anyway.

How I’d kill for a MODOK analyze cube infinite in xfactor from anywhere on the screen.

On another note about my favorite character:

Give him a hit box on his damn jets. It doesn’t have to be huge. Just that buff would make him hell on earth to deal with and make me
very, very happy :wink:

Why do people insist on making HM disappear on hit?

You do realize that would make that assist virtually unusable besides as an OTG for combo extension, correct? Only two characters would be able to properly defend it, and even they would struggle to do so against a lot of characters.
