Got a question for the unblockable setup. After I do the setup what’s the best combo Doom can do? For the higher health characters, I don’t end up killing them unless I use a third meter to plasma beam, photon array, which I’d prefer to avoid doing to save the meter. Is it possible to get 3 loops if I used s.M, forward H (hard kick) which is faster and less HSD? How about the j.L, H dive, ADD, c.M, c.H, S loop?
Also, how do you guys deal with up back chicken blocking? Should I box dash hold forward H to o/s air throws or tick them in the air with s.L and cross under(does this even work?)
Can she get anything off ground throws? Maybe just dash back to catch forward teching out of corners?
For up backers, your best bet is o/s AD H. At least you can get 3 options off it if you do get the throw. (OTG if you have the assist, air max voltage, or land>round trip mixup.)
When you’re going air to air with the opponent as Trish, you’re better off with the o/s H just because all her other air normals aren’t going to flat out beat someone else’s throw range or normal. That and if you’re good like that, can get a full combo off a hit confirm AD H.
The best way to get the round trip relaunch (which you can do TWO of in a combo if you have a beam assist and an OTG assist) is:

Any basic combo into knockdown > dash and kara your otg assist (Press dash and assist at the same time) > Low medium > cancel low medium into round trip > dash again > wait till they are low to the ground and launch them > instant J.s > dash down forward > J. S
Hey guys I’m new here but have been playing marvel for a while. I usually just roam the forums and steal useful tech but I figured I’d finally make an account. My current team is Nova(Centurion Rush)/ Trish(Low Voltage)/ Skrull(Orbital Grudge)
Great DHC chemistry all around especially when you have 3 bars. Low voltage helps Nova get it, Trish can set up an unblockable with Nova overhead and Skrull Standing L. Skrull XF 3 is still GDLK and I have made plenty of 3 on 1 comebacks with him. Tell me what you guys think!
I don’t recommend using cold star in a combo if you can avoid it. It’s good for opening people up but it scales the damage pretty hard and also jacks up the hit stun deterioration.
I’m no combo master at all, but that above combo using Cold Star and OTG does in fact work and nets roughly 900k damage for one meter, which is so far the most damage I’ve gotten out of Trish without X factor or lvl3 or anything like that.
I know it used to just be Hopscotch over and over on airborn foes, but I thought she lost that.
Ice posted a Trish combo video a while back that had an XF3 combo that did 1mil, no meter. I would guess that adding in the Air Max Voltage at the end would push it into the ToD category.
xf2/3 hopscotch infinite still works. Timing is just a bit weird.
also I found a rather decent incoming setup with peekaboo and a lockdown assist. If I ever get a chance to record it (or if I bother to go on stream while they’re recording tomrrow we’re playing Marvel at Xanadu) i’ll try to throw it in there granted Trish gets a incoming mixup.
Basically works anywhere (best mid screen) and is a nice mixup tool for Trish that isn’t the typical trap>assist>up/down incoming mixup. But it’s pretty much:
Kill a character (or snapback)>Hopscotch (for mid screen, best in the middle or a bit away from their incoming jump range) call assist>dash under opponent>normal jump> ADB j.H.
replace ADB with ADDB j.L for other options. (I haven’t tried it but I believe it works) or simply don’t do anything.
What’s everybody’s opinion of a Firebrand/Trish/Ammy or Trish/Firebrand/Ammy team? I’m interested in FB, and also thinking I want to drop Viper since I’ve mained her since Ultimate dropped and I still hopelessly suck with her.
I think that team sounds absolutely great. FB/Ammy is just dirty as hell. Just retarded setups with cold star + unblockables. Also I didn’t know you played Viper too? Lol my team is Viper/Trish/Ammy! xD
I think the issue I foresee with the team is the synergy, or more appropriate lack thereof, between Trish/Firebrand. He could possibly benefit from Peekaboo for mixups or Low Voltage to cover his approach, but I’m not really sure what he brings to the table for her. His OTG assist is way too slow for her to use as a combo extender. And I would actually prefer to run her on point.
I’m trying to pair up Trish with Deadpool’s katana-rama, what air series do you guys so that Trish can land faster to the ground? Deadpool’s Katanarama isn’t coming out fast enough and it’s hitting past the screen…
On the relaunch, I do , , double jump, :h:, :s:.
After that I press my Katanarama assist and do my Round Trip but the dummy just gets up already. I believe it’s in the air magi series that I’m doing…
