Not sure what use it is, but just wanted to say I’ve made a small discovery. In the corner, after Cr.LMHS Dive xx Fly, LMMH, one can unfly, air dash down, and land J.S. I was hoping for Haggar-like combos where he can do S and still land St.LMS. Doesn’t work for Trish, she lands an L and opponent flips out. Anyway, the inputs after the H are :qcb: :s: :d: :s:. If you dash manually with buttons, you get a special. It’s a highly difficult input to get consistently, but it’s there. Hope this leads to something if it wasn’t already known
yes it works, you can try it yourself, im used to doing it alot offline and i have that patience factor doing it in offline setting but it seemed to fail alot unless i did it quicker online

Does trish have a nice reset game? Been playing her, and she just doesn’t seem to do enough damage for me(one of her few set backs). At the moment what I do is finish my combo with an :s:, call sentinel and proceed to mix-up from there. It will probably work better once I improve my mix-up game, but I was wondering what options she has as a reset character? I mean its hard to come up with anything since she has no command grab, can’t get a lot of damage of her air throws consistently and can’t combo off her ground throw at all.
I worked up a few things back in Vanilla that I’m still happy with when I play her in Ultimate on teams that aren’t doing Round Harvest unblockables.
Corner mix-ups using Round Trip

Basically you can use it get a 4-way mix-up on a character as they wake-up. In some cases, Round Trip will even punish them if they try to raw tag out, or you’re safe enough to just block in others.

I haven’t even watched the video yet but Im sure ill be learning something since it requires the use of round trip(a move I don’t use yet). Its a lotta fun gradually learning trish and what each of her tools can be used for, I just realized recently that you could combo off a trap that connects. You can imagine how esctatic I was lol.
pfft when you find out that standing under peekaboo makes an entire footdive whiff due to absorbing hit youd be blown away
i got hyped when i thought you were gonna score a perfect on noel with style then you ruined it for me by doing air stream with Dante, im really like your trish team alot, you should participate in more tournaments since you came out of nowhere and started beating the top players but if you cant thats understandable. ^^
Hey so hwo do u guys punish dantes teleport? I currently air throw his ass, but trish doesn’t get nearly enough damage off her air throws so I was wondering what else can trish do to punish the teleports that would lead to significantly more damage?

Doesn’t that require setting up? Like if I see a dante standing full screen and Im like “this fools about to teleport” would she be able to place a peekabo quick enough? In my experience it didn’t seem that way, but maybe I was doing it wrong.
no…o.O…and it is fast enough actually i just tried. i guess all we can do is do it on reaction now,um actually im going to practice up+backing in the corner and practicing peekaboo into an air combo now

True dat, shortie ain’t got much for combos, a combo thread would only serve to clutter up the place imo. How much damage does that combo do if you end with a tk max voltage? I currently do :d: :l::H::s: jump

:h: max voltage. Doesn’t do the most damage(prolly around 600k) and its a bitch to DHC out of mid screen, plus the max voltage doesn’t always hit completely. On paper alone yours seems more damaging.
It does a bit more damage, but it has some character specific timings to get the hopscotch relaunch in there. The TK Max Voltage is the way to go since it maxes out the hits if you don’t need to DHC to another character.
If I’m planning to DHC to another character, I’ll do something like you posted on the final relaunch and then try to time the next DHC.
i do jack d rippers version of her b&b. lately, i’ve been trying to sub j.m for j.h into dive kick after the launch for for damage and positioning.
for easy dhc midscreen, i go for
launch, j.m or j.h, dive kick, land, l,m,h, l low voltage xx maximum voltage. you can skip the low voltage depending on the character and its more consistent for max voltage to hit for happy birthdays. however, not adding the low voltage tends to make it miss vs bigger characters.
here is a reset i was messing with yesterday:
launch, j.m or j.h, dive kick, land, l, m,
from there you can
-jump and air throw your opponent:
if you have wesker assist, you can follow it up with whatever. otherwise, the best u can get is a few measly hits of air max voltage.
-jump m,h,dive kick xx low voltage or super.
unlike the peekabo reset i mentioned a few posts back, i wasnt able to get a standing l to connect after jump, m, h, s, land
not a reset, but potential mixup options:
launch, h, s, air dash d/f, dive kick cancel into fly or hopscotch.
was messing around with this yesterday for a few minutes and havent got a chance to touch the game again.
I’ve had way too much difficulty with the post-hop scotch air dash in that combo. Frustrating.
