Does anyone else feel kinda gipped that this thread doesn’t have a snappy title like all the other character threads? Or should we just feel mature and above all that? gipped

The reason we don’t have a clever title is because the OP never intended for this thread to replace the Vanilla one. But I’m all for Sesame Street Accessories. Shoutouts to Yipes for making that up and RDK for inspiring it.

I checked out some of the other videos on your youtube and saw your BnBs involving Dante’s Jam Session mid combo. Do those still work in ultimate? I was experimenting with Cold Star midcombo to see if I could extend the combo into more damage/meter gain. The best I came up with was a combo for the exact same meter gain but roughly 100k less damge. I know HSD hit that assist hard and I would have to think the same would happen to Jam Session. But if it hasn’t maybe I’ll hit the lab a bit more.

I believe the Jam Session extension still works actually! The reason is because it overlaps straight into a Round Trip in the air, and that has a lot of hit stun to spare.

So if Round Trip hits at the same time as Jam Session or, in my case, Cold Star, the Round Trip somewhat takes precedence and has less HSD?

I wouldn’t say it takes precedence, since I think the most recent hit’s HSD is always what counts. Round Trip has really long HSD and hits frequently enough that they don’t pop-out in that slight gap between the final hit of Jam Session and a hit of the actively spinning Round Trip. That’s what I meant by overlap.

Cold Star may be a different story, though, and I’ll try to test it out later. I haven’t been able to play for a week or so though :frowning: Got a new HDTV and have to wait for the right cables and stuff to come in so I can play on it without lag.

Can’t this somewhat work with Vergil and his round trip? At least with left right teleport mindgames covered with an assist?

Well Vergil can already massively extend combos with his Round Trip.

If you’re talking about using his Round Trip to setup mix-ups, I’m sure he can do that too, but usually getting something like Round Trip blocked means that you get advancing guarded all the way out to full screen. And that can be a good or bad thing depending on what you’re trying to accomplish.

Only thing about advance guarding his round trip is that he has a teleport. So pushblocking his round trip is actually a bad thing due to the teleport.

Though just a thought. Vergil doesn’t really need it considering he has other resets that work for him.

So here’s what I have with Cold Star assist and Wesker assist. Vipers would work in Wesker’s place just as well I think if she’s on your team.

Builds about 1.35 bars. You can omit the Hop Scotch during the first RDK special when doing it midscreen to make it a lot easier.

If you don’t do the Cold Star extension (but still do the Wesker extension), it only does 534,600. Builds about 1.15 bars.

And the Jam Session extension still works. I think the Cold Star one is actually easier midscreen :o

Ran into this weird Trish crossover assist bug (I would assume) where if you do a Crossover with Peekaboo assist and she dies on the first hit after the trap is thrown out, trap won’t work. (they pop out instantly)

Not only that, her death animation (chipped or light attack version) restarts after you get hit from the trap(clean or blocked). If you run into the trap late in her death animation (right before she disappears) she’ll redo her death animation except she’s invincible in the falling animation (along with her body being there to block your walking path) and reappears when she’s laying on the ground. It’s funny but it’s also weird. I’m gonna record it later and post it up.

Completely useless but it’s funny to watch.

Lol, When I made this it was mainly just to Discuss Trish BEFORE ultimate came out (At least it was my intention).

I’d be willing to help out with a new thread with all the frame animation/damage of all her moves but I won’t start one because I can say for sure I won’t be able to keep up with updating it. But I have to reiterate my vote for “Too much stimulation for you?” as the title.

Has anyone noticed that when trish is flying and airdashes down or down+left/right it will cancel her flight mode sometimes? It only happens if you airdash using H as one of your dash buttons though. Sorry if this is well-known, I’m new to trish and have not seen it in the threads.
