Confirming that Max Voltage can now OTG. So that clears up the confusion.

nice, that would mean she can extend her combos after a knockdown now. Damage output was the only thing trish needed to be perfect.

One one list it mentioned recovery was better on all her moves too. I don’t know if the traps needed that, but I am thankful for it on her low voltage.

I like the recovery on low voltage. Ground hopscotch had horrible startup so If the recovery is better, that’s great.

OTG Max Voltage is cool. OTG hopscotch would have been better though. Would have allowed longer combos=no more low damage Trish.

Trish already does a good amount though with OTG as an assist. Max voltage being OTG just means it’s even more now.

and if trap recovery is actually shortened, that also helps in keeping combos going longer.

I remember there was a discovery where if you OTG someone w/ a hyper combo it usually does more damage than if you hit w/ otherwise. So this means more damage for Trish :D…unless they changed the system and now OTG moves do just about the same amount of damage…but I’ll see what the Evo-goers have to say about that.

They normalized otg moves doing more damage.
Also, I tried doing otg max voltage several times and it didn’t work as OTG, I guess I just wasn’t in the build yet, mashing buttons doing max voltage didn’t get me more damage either, so my assumption is probably the case.
(Alot of changes they listed in the panel weren’t actually in the build yet :/)

Honestly now that I think of it idc if Trish can otg with hopscotch or max voltage, because I run wesker and his otg assist lets me do good damage with trish anyway. All I want for Trish is this
-Better durability on her traps
-Better recovery on low voltage/max voltage
-Faster startup on low voltage
-50k vitality buff so she would be up to 900k with Dante, I think that’s fair

Its not much but you get to see the changes to her Peekaboo and Low Voltage. This build has those changes right?

supposedly, though I’ve read some speculation that her traps/fireballs are in fact unchanged. I think they look faster here but it could very easily my eyes wanting to believe the rumors.

oh god what have they done to her dive kick?! it’s way worse. wesker flipped out of it almost immediately.
so we can’t do the relaunch combo anymore!? why would they destroy trish?

Kinda looked like the player delayed the hopscotch a little too much after the dive kick to me. You may or may not be right.

Yeah I wouldn’t be too concerned just yet, because I do think I’ve seen her relaunch with it in other videos. Definitely something to keep an eye on though.

Recent Trish player here - If Max Voltage is otg, that would be a nice buff. She definately needs a OTG to really increase her output after a knock down on her own. And even with a otg assist, it would be nice to be able to do, say, OTG assist, S, j.MHS, OTG Max Voltage.

We’ll see though.

Can you test if after a hard knockdown into OTG air hyper that another non-OTG hyper can be DHC’d and connect? Need to test if the hyper props the opponent up or if it just hits and keeps them on the ground.

Was it like Taskmaster’s downward arrow OTG super that leaves them grounded at the end? Or do they ‘pop up’ for an easy DHC, like Ryu or Akuma’s beam supers used as OTG?

They do not ‘popup,’ unfortunately, couldn’t land anything after the dhc.
