It’s a glitch that is super easily avoided.
As for all the people saying “Wesker isn’t that good”, I agree. He isn’t top tier.
But that doesn’t stop him from ruining these tournaments. Everyone should replace the Wesker on their team with Viewtiful Joe. Then I’ll be happy forever.

The Wesker phase will probably go away after a few months (please don’t make me eat my words. I can’t stand seeing Wesker even on the field) like the Sentinel one. People seriously need to stick to their shit though. Why doesn’t Justin Wong have a team yet, even? PR Rog needs to pick Dante back up too man.

I also think this will eventually happen.
It’s a new game, and people are still getting adjusted to the new BS so they want an easy character to use for the first couple months of tournaments. After a while people will get comfortable with themselves and start to explore more, and as such the ecosystem will return to neutral.
At least I hope that happens.

Calling it a glitch is like crying about glitches when you get an SBK trying to do a jumping L after crouching for a few seconds as Chun. Clean up your fucking execution and stop crying.

Player opens Wesker up, Player drops combo 5 hits in, Player dashes face first into Wesker normals or simply forgets to block for a few seconds giving Wesker a free combo that kills the other player.

Same here, although for fairly obvious reasons (AKA I play Doom and like him).
There are a lot of characters in this game I never grow tired of seeing. Magneto, Spencer, Doom, Dante, Nova, Storm, Strider… even some of the more hated, “derp” characters like Wolverine, Phoenix (and now) Wesker can be hype if the person playing them is awesome.
Apparently your more of a moron than I thought. It DOES NOT matter how perfectly you input QCF if you input it immediately after a 1st QCF super you get a DP super. Now go get some knowledge of the game and stop being stupid/hardheaded.
Dec 17-18 all people will be bitchin about Doom, Then they’re going to get back to Phoenix…

Apply that to a lot of characters, people FINISH YOUR PLATES… I saw the damn stream and people dropped combos like it was day -30 of Vanilla MvC3. I mean, seriously people. Don’t drop combos if you want to beat everybody…
I never get tired of seeing Storm, Doom, Magneto, Strider, and a a good Sentinel. Though that may just be nostalgia speaking to me.
I literally saw someone stop blocking against Wesker. How do you block the cr.L, but get hit by the cr.M RIGHT AFTER AND HE DIDN’T EVEN STAGGER.
I play both. So are you neutral with me? 
Uh…I’m gonna go against the grain here and say that I think Wesker IS top tier. Not broken, not the best (not with Zero in the game) but easily top tier. Main thing is that he was pretty much top tier in vanilla and he didn’t really get any worse whereas all the other top tier (again, except for Zero) got nerfed and none of the new 12 have much potential for broke. Vergil, Hawkeye and Strange look the best of the 12 and they’re probably high tier at most.
Funny thing is theres not many dooms in San Diego…
…Cept Viscant and Dios X. Damnit.
