One thing I was wondering when watching Chrisis play is that he has three bullshit characters, but does three bullshit characters necessarily mean best team in the game? Maybe the team just doesn’t gel well, despite there being great characters on the team.

Never. Felicia is a terrible character to use online. Tiny amounts of lag kill her game. People will just stick to Wesker.
Well, the flood will only last for a bit once people realize they can’t use her/use her online, and then they will head back to ol’ Albert.

You guys should check out the TNT stream regularly because NorCal has some very good players.
Any decent rushdown character backed by drones can look good especially when played a player of the skill of ShadyK, especially when you don’t have matchup experience against her mixups. Having said that, Felicia is underrated for sure, I dunno about top tier though =O. The funny part is Chrisis and I used to session with a very good Felicia (CrispyTacoz), but we haven’t gotten to practice with him much in Ultimate (blame Skyrim).
I liked the back and forth talk after grand finals between Magus and Chrisis to hear their different analysis on Ultimate char effectiveness. Chrisis is an expert for sure, but I agree with Magus in regards to the derp factor of Wesker/Spencer especially with regards to high pressure situations.

Yo shadyk 6 straight on chrisis? Didn’t see that coming, I like his team, but I don’t think firebrand fits in that well although I like the character I don’t think he meshes well with viper and strider since he can’t self otg consistently. I think firebrand would need like a serious lock down assist, but what do I know, dude was in grand finals and Im in ottawa lol.

Firebrand works well there, he can OTG with 236C for combos, super or just set up unblockables. IF ya got to see winners finals as well Firebrand did a lot of work against Shady K as he used his Wolverine team. I wasn’t ready for the Air Delta Kick paired with the air dash nerf. X_X

But I have to agree after messing with Firebrand, you can use him with something like vajra and be effective but if you have some assist that can fill the screen and nullify projectiles i think it would be more beneficial to his game.
I feel both cover different parts of his game and both are useful. I think having access to Vajra and something like drones or cold star is ideal for him.
