not to discredit fanatiq at all, but he should definitely do some umvc3 adjusting. He should optimize damage with magnetic blast loops instead of flight combos, and he needs to get used to not being able to block in air dash.
I remember Mags players saying Blast Loops were what he was going to need to rely on before release.
So, finals are next week, and Richard is out playing Marvel. Heh, what if he skipped a final next Wednesday to go to WNF…

Catching up on WNF from last night. STEEEVEEEE
The interesting thing about Steve is that I didn’t find him nearly as funny in-and–of-himself as much as I found people’s response to him hilarious - the stream chat in particular. “Its a black guy with a funny voice saying things! LAAAFFFFFFFF!”.
As opposed to “white guy with a monotone voice” or “asian guy being awkward” or whatever other generalizations you want to throw out there.
It took me about 5 minutes to get used to Steve then I was glad to have the fresh blood in there that was actually getting/adding hype.
I don’t have a problem with Steve commentating. I’m just interpreting his occurence and articulating why it’s funny to me.
Didnt catch the WNF archive yet…sounds like this steve guy is a new commentator? Is he funnier than Chris Matrix teaching us how to drink ice tea? Cuz that shit had me rolling lol
The best part about Steve was that nobody saw him coming. I’m not going to try an build up anybody’s expectations but it was a pleasant surprise for WNF because sometimes it’s a little by the numbers.
