The funniest thing is longtime Logan mains going for full MMH relaunches off throw pickups and dropping from excessive HSD. I mean, the character is not that hard to play. You only need to remember a very small number of things.
Since this game is so crazy it’s hard to tell who has “good” neutral or not, one of the few things you can gauge a good player on is confirming and maximizing damage from a variety of situations.
I think the point others are trying to make is that NONE of these unsafe acts got punished and MaxOut still earns wins with this play style which says something about his opponent. Instead of letting him hang himself and capitalize some players still act like they don’t know what to do against nutty players like this. Brawn had the right idea to run away, but he was wrong to think that it was the only thing he had to do. He could have killed Skrull or other characters plenty of times but didn’t realize that.
brawn missed a lot of easy punishes on Frank. chicken block knee drops for free punish, block slide & punish launcher, and his welcome mixup was really weak considering maxout made it so easy for him. air dash every time on incoming… jesus maxout suuuuuuucks

Oh no, Maxout is pretty shit. Last time I played him in tourny earlier this month, beat him so bad he left without taking his 3rd place money 
The point I’m making (not saying that you were stating otherwise) is that being more technical =/= being a better player. You can maximize your combos for damage and meter gain all you want and have setups for days, but if you can’t land that hit, none of that shit matters. That’s why you see top players winning more often even though they are still doing Day -1 combos (ChrisG’s Morrigan). At the end of the day, all what matters is that W. If you maximize all your combos and have 12 different setups, but are still losing to Joe Schmoe #1&2, then what are you doing? Yes, Maxout tried the same command grab 8 times, but how many times did he get punished for it? How many times did he get punished for raw tags? How many incoming setups were non-existent from Brawn? I’d rather blame the other player not punishing dumb shit than blame the person actually doing it.

Both of those guys are pretty bad based on that footage. Maxout obviously is Maxout and plays this game like a moron, but Brawn could have XFC killed Skrull in both the games he lost, he could have XFC any of Wolvie’s 10 or so Divekick in 8 or so seconds after Max had already popped and he could have done a couple of footdive loops before level 3 to guarantee the win.
Not to mention his Doom consisted entirely of upback footdive.

On a technical level Brawn did nothing that impressed me, but I did enjoy how he discovered something that MaxOut had tons of trouble responding to and exploiting it when MaxOut couldn’t adapt.
Yeah I stopped feeling sorry for people getting XF3’d when they refuse to use meaty set ups on incoming characters. Stop letting people come in pushing buttons, you need to force people to block and respect your options before you do other shit. That’s partly why Zero is good because he doesn’t give you the chance to mash on shit as you come in; You gotta take it like a whore.
Edit: I loved seeing Max get lamed the fuck out though. There was that moment while getting lamed where he stood completely still and came to the realization that his team is dog shit. LOL the desperation supers lololol.

How good NSR is to how good MaxOut is only matters if NSR had mad the statement “Maxout is trash, I am so much better then him, I’ll 3-0 him every time.” because that statement is a comparison. The statement that MaxOut is trash is not a comparison, and thus NSR’s own skill level is entirely irrelevant to it.
