I stopped reading at “low damage” on Viper. Her special damage scaling is on par with Hulk, Dark Phoenix and Zero… and higher than everyone else in the cast. It’s a veritable fact that she is a high damage character in the game.

[]Viper can do meter neutral 900k+ combos solo, and can go up over 1,000,000 with assists and be meter positive. And her hypers do great damage due to how the scaling works. Pretty much every point you made about her was wrong.
[]If you think that Trish was hurt by the airdash nerf, you don’t understand how the character works. She welcomes the tears of characters trying to reach her while they get hit out of their airdashes by traps and sword normals. She also does not need the DHC glitch to TOD characters or support others in doing big damage with Round Harvest. She’s capable of 950k+ damage combos only using 1 assist, and very difficult to escape resets (RH unblockables) that kill any character while also building meter.

Yea against ppl with NO projectiles…if your playing strider unless your going for mixups, playing someone without projectiles or combo resets there is no reason to be using those projectiles except formation B and thats to keep all ur shit safe and maintain pressure

Not to downplay yipes or fanatiq but neither of them have won a Marvel Major yet…and the crossover counter tourny wasnt considered a major.
I don’t think Jwong or Viscant have Viper’s to play either considering they’re all from SoCal
lol, the same can be said about Viper… Just because you haven’t won a major doesn’t mean you’re a bad character and just because you haven’t won a major doesn’t make you a bad player. I’d value Yipes opinion as much as Jwong’s or Viscant, I’m sure the dude knows what he is talking about.
Yipes and Fanatiq are great players due to there execution abilities, Jwong understands the game mechanics as does Viscant far above others. Reason why they are so good, they understand the properties of the game.
Anyway I was just using that as a counter argument to the poster’s claim that we do not know what we are talking about.
