Noob question here, but what’s a shell?

You know how marvel is a three person game? Well because of factors such as assists, dhc’s, TAC’s and such, rating a team by each character individually is a flawed concept. Instead, we rate a team by its core gameplan, which is usually carried out by two of the characters, or the “shell” of the team. Depending on the team you can have one two or even three shell combinations within a team, though often there is one that dominates a team composition.

I feel that Amaterasu is the best partner for any tri-dasher, even ahead of Sentinel drones.I need to change my list haha, I think Ammy makes a better partner for Doom than Strider.
