Sounds about right to me. At least, those are the first 3 crumple moves that come to my mind that is. Nova probably does it best since the Nova/Spencer shell is too strong.
Doom/Strider is the best shell. Followed by Zero/Dante. Then Morrigan/Doom. Then Doom/Ammy. Then Magneto/Doom.
Wolverine/Akuma is good, but not nearly as good as these.
I’d say MorriDoom is the best shell, if we’re gonna say any shell is the best.

Hawkeye/Strider is one annoying duo.
Okay I need another bestie for a menage a trois. I currently use Task/X/Akuma or X/Task/Akuma. Task with tatsu is great, and as much as I’d like to use Doom with missiles or something in the 2nd slot, he just doesn’t synergize well enough with tatsu. I’ve used Spencer, Hawkeye, and Nova, but I just can’t quite find a pairing that’s sufficiently brokenly annoying. I play pretty much only online so I tried to play Storm and stuff but it’s really hard to be technical with lag (even Spencer tk stuff is annoying).
So basically who are some more BFFs with either tatsu or with Task that will let me extend Task combos into sharp sting hopefully in the corner and will be a good DHC? If I could do the midscreen zip loop I’d probably play Spencer more, and I like Nova but his more damaging stuff is kinda tricky and tatsu isn’t THAT great for him. I know I keep asking basically this same conundrum but I have been stuck in this character crisis for months =/ Should I focus on learning Wolverine or something? He seems like he might be a good point to build meter and abuse arrows + berserker slash or something to get in, and him with Akuma is always pretty good I suppose.
Task/Strange is sooooo good, no joke. Also how is Doom/Phoenix a shell?
A lot of Phoenix teams are X/Doom/Phoenix. TACing into Dooms shenanigans builds the meter. He’s got a good health and can do well on his own.

You could play M00ns old team of Task/Ammy/Akuma. Cold Star does a lot for Task such as keeping Shield Skills safe and setting up pressure. You can check out Honzo’s channelfor some great Task/Ammy stuff. Plus you can use Cold Star to extend a combo as demonstrated here by Honzo:

The issue though is that I’m not sure how well Ammy/Akuma work together.
