Apparently Mystic Ray is pretty much the best assist for GR as it covers all his problems, its either that or Missiles but Doom is a cunt so i wont go there…

I have a combo video of my team (Shuma/Spencer/Doom) coming out really soon. The BnB’s in there for Shuma are pretty standard with a little of my own stuff in it. You can ignore the assists with the combos because those are just used for extending the combo when Shuma alone himself can already deal a ton of damage alone. It’ll be out by tomorrow for sure.
Ghostrider definitely benefits from mystic ray as it gives even more screen coverage for GR. Ghostrider is also really good at protecting Shuma’s assist long enough with his reach after all. I actually have messed around with GR/Shuma and it’s pretty fun with how much screen you can cover. Mystic ray also extends his combos pretty well since Ghost can combo from an insane amount of range. Sorry about the whole Doom thing as I see you’re not a fan of him. He’s been with me since MVC2 so I was playing him in Vanilla before all the BS that came with him. Same with [S]dreads[/S] I mean, Spencer.
If you’re rocking Shuma with Ammy, that’s one of the best assists for Shuma easily. It gives him a pressure game and allows him more chances to open the opponent up with TK mystic smashes and any other sort of tricks you got. Another thing great about Ammy/Coldstar for Shuma is that the assist actually allows Shuma to still get his BnB’s without them fucking up cause of the hit stun.
I’m gonna be having more tutorials on Shuma himself anyways. The combo video that I’m releasing is more so just the standard BnB’s I use from full screen, mid screen ad in the corner. I’m saving throw combos, converting off random hits and air to air conversions for another video.
Naw man, so much family over that it’s really hard to find time and when it’s quiet to stream. I really want to finish up Corpse Party with you guys too. I’m trying to finish it up and let you guys see what happens. Don’t worry, I won’t play games that I’m streaming to make sure we enjoy it together.

By coincidence I just learnt a Spider-man combo using a video you did about a year ago. 
Also, Shuma assist with Spider-man is good in so many ways. After you do a :l: Web Throw, call Mystic Ray, leave it for a bit, the opponent is no longer being comboed but they’re in an airborne state. So Ultimate Web Throw is unavoidable (even if they air tech back or forward.) Also Ultimate Web Throw DHCs nicely into Shuma’s OTG Hypers.
