Yeah, that sounds great. Just mess around. It might be a good idea to listen to genres outside your comfort zone or tastes too just so you can pick out something interesting. Be open to anything. It helps. Folk music, rock, metal (I got a buncha stuff for this), trance, house, everything’s got their own thing that’s worth something in it somewhere. Sorry MysticRay, I lose the “Son vs. mother calling specific child for something” matchup free as fuck. 
I’d like to say I’m approaching that matchup better with disabling the parts of your team that make it work, but I just can’t land one solid combo on anything online lately. I’m also still not undoing a lot of bad habits of mine especially with anchor Strider.

For one if I have to DHC into Dante after Viper dies…I prefer him with missiles over beam. Smaller characters like Morrigan and Ammy duck under pbeam any way and they’re starting to become more prominent in tourneys.
Viper really doesn’t need another neutral assist other than jam session if you play smartly with her. I just like missiles because it does a lot of different things and a few of those things are unique to that specific assist.
The other thing is that on point missiles is probably the only assist I’ve found (other than maybe drones???) where if you force them to block the missiles, you can call your next neutral assist immediately after. Make them block missiles on the ground, then call jam session inbetween for a super long lockdown that basically gives you a free opening on the opponent. So basically anytime they block missiles they are also immediately forced to block jam session. Which is too good to pass up on.
Besides…you can get away on some team scrub shit and get mileage off of just spamming jam session and doing fraud combos and mix ups with level 3 tropical punch Dante. Then once you actually learn Dante you can get mileage after DHCing into him and actually knowing how to use him when he’s not in XF.
I listen to everything I have some soul buts its the well known shit like otis, cooke, knight etc. I’m really trying to figure out a way to use some shoegaze to replicate clams casino sound atm but I don’t think my skills are there yet lol. Shoegaze seems like such a godlike sampling cove but those fucking terribly mastered drums are on everythingggggggggg

Why not just put Dante second if you’re gonna just DHC into him? ~_~ I would think Dante in 2nd with that THC for 2 bars and DHCing into Million Dollars from everywhere woud be better too.
At least you have siblings that help with that matchup. When you’re an only child your parents can hit you with unblockable mixups all day.

Mainly because Doom isn’t that great of an anchor and the main main reason Doom is second is for TAC infinites. Anytime I land a hit where I know I’ll have trouble converting or killing…Doom makes sure they die and gives Viper a shit ton of meter. Then once that happens I can run HAM ass theory Viper EX seismo beats everything shit.
Doom is really just there to buff up Viper’s damage and meter gain if I feel it’s needed. Plus Dante is a better anchor if I get my anchor to fall down to the floor than Doom. There’s too many matchups you might as well just put the stick down for when Doom is your anchor.
I’m not a big fan of having your second character be your scariest character in the neutral. Your second character is usually the one that ends up taking some gdlk incoming mix up after they hit you first so it might as well just be Doom that takes that over Dante any way.
