This made me realize that I’ve stopped playing P4:A. Damn…
I don’t really factor execution much into it. You either got execution with Zero and you’re scary or you don’t have execution and go to somebody else that’s scary without it. As far as the neutral is concerned at the start of the round especially Spencer just never seemed as scary to me as Zero or Wolverine regardless of who was playing him. Like…even when I was using X-23 and Dante, Spencer never felt like a huge chore to fight.
Whereas Air Dash H overheads that cross up and OS into throws with Nova is about as much durp as you can fit into an air dash as you can ever get in this game. I’m pretty sure air dash H with Nova is the most autopilot thing you can do in this game that doesn’t involve XF and can be done at the start of the round. It’s pretty much everything a scrub wants to open somebody up all in one motion. You’ll either grab, cross up, fake cross up and/or overhead. That’s before calling an assist.
Like you can pretty much introduce someone to Marvel with point Nova and air dash H.
