I dunno why you’d be trying to make major cash off of FGs anyway. Games are a hobby; if you make money winning, that’s some good extra cash, but if not, you’re still playing the game because you’re having fun with it. If you have a steady job, that should be your main source of income, and everything else is merely icing on the cake. If you complain about the payout in tournaments I can’t help but wonder where your priorities are.
