How I deal with Footdive/Dive Kick/Shell Kick BS?
I use the dog and spam those paper mines. Doom is so free to Ammy it’s not even funny.
Also you’re always out of Doom’s grab range so he can’t do jack shit.
My sodium levels have vastly decreased since I switched to using the dog.

I’ve been thinking, that maybe, “just maybe”. Zero is not really optimal for a tournament setting, I think he’s godlike, extremely strong and unfair, yet for some reason I don’t know, he never wins the whole tournament despite having all the tools to do so. Reminds me of MvC2 Magneto…

He will eventually. And MSP won some Majors in MvC2… right? The only reason Zero isn’t winning is because people drop the loop, and none of the best players are playing Zero.

Not optimal for tournament setting? He can straight up make you not play. I think that is optimal for Marvel in tournaments. Really, I think Zero players just may need to work on their other characters. If Zero dies, they tend to crumble.
Position yourself correctly and Doom can’t dash cancel, at which point he’s easily punished. Or just stay out of range and hit him out of it / zone him when he tries to do it.
As for pushblocks or grabs… I’ve seen few players who have problems pushblocking or otherwise blocking Foot Dive outside of incoming corner mixups, even on 1 bar connections. I would find it easier if people didn’t press buttons, imo… Makes grab mindgames easier.
Poking him out of footdive is, well… risky.
Another update?! I really can’t take that game seriously, especially with them tweaking it every few months. There’s a certain point where you have to leave the game alone and let the players do the exploring.
Well, there’s a couple of factors involved in that:

[]Zero’s a super good character, yes, but he’s also a glass cannon. One lapse in judgement during the neutral game and he’s a dead man…err…robot. The pixie aspect of him makes him so high-risk/high-reward.
[]He also comes with an execution requirement in order to get the most out of him. Once people (myself included) stop dropping loops and confirms, we’ll see a lot more domination.
[]There aren’t that many Zero players around, at least not compared to guys like Vergil. This point is void if you live in Texas though. 
[]People need to build cheaper Zero teams. Yes, a team with Zero on it is cheap as it is, but the last thing you want is to be free as the wind if Zero dies. I still think ZMC is a non-optimal fad.

MVC2 Magneto was really fair.
Magneto was the best point character in MVC2.
He’d won more tournaments if it wasn’t for Mr.Wong, who by himself had a ton of wins with his MSP.
Well sort of the worst part is that most players actually WANT the update. Infiltration not too long ago stated he would like one and I’ve heard others say the same. I actually remember flashmetroid awhile back saying he would gladly pay 30$+ for a new one.
At the end of the day though people will still play it and it will actually bring some people back just like with all the other updates. I don’t really mind either way to be honest.
