^ Your tv didn’t lag straight out of the box?
Even with Game Mode on and tinkering with Settings and VGA, mine still lags.
Meant to ask earlier, any idea who that is?

Lol, I never listen to anything Best Buy says. They told me I needed a HDMI cable for my HD PVR and conned me out of 20 bucks since all you need are the component cables or whatever they’re called.

The Hulk/Lariat teams at Next Level were pissing me off after I dropped Zero a while back and couldn’t lame them out anymore but continued continued to press buttons as obnoxiously as I did before. RE6 is a good game, beat Chris’ campaign and it was awesome. Played Jake’s a bit before I had to leave home to college (can’t bring PS3), and I think that’s where all the quick time cheap stuff is at.

The problem with Mario Kart isn’t the Blue Shell in itself, it’s the way it’s implemented in the newer titles. In MK64, the Blue Shell didn’t just hit 1st place, it hit everyone in it’s path as it traveled the ground. This was okay because it’s not as big of a deal when nearly everybody gets hit, and the item does what it’s supposed to; slow the other players down so that the guy who threw the thing can catch up a bit. The Blue Orb in CTR was good too for the same reason.
On the other hand, the defensive options are OP in newer Mario Kart titles are too good as well. If the dude in 1st place has 3 bananas (in addition to whatever else he’s carrying), the only thing that can catch him is a Blue Shell, which only hits the guy in 1st place. In MK64, a row of bananas getting hit meant that all of the bananas drop, while the newer titles require you to hit each banana separately. Combined with the dumb flying Blue Shell, being in 1st place makes you feel like you have a giant target on your back, as you are singled out by every good item in the game, while 2nd place just sits there waiting for RNG to kick in. Shoot, the guy in 1st place recovers last from Lightning too.
