In Vanilla, I used to use Taskmaster/Dante/Felicia. Crispy used Dante/Taskmaster/Felicia. I’d say any combination of that team will still work in Ultimate.
DJ Huoshin uses Felicia/Skrull/Taskmaster. I can’t remember what assists he uses, but Skrull and Taskmaster both have assists which can either get her anti-air or cover her ground approach. Plus Skrull/Taskmaster is a stupid good shell that will make people rage. Skrull and Taskmaster can both make good use of Rolling Buckler assist if you ever want to play Felicia on anchor, too.
I personally am using Skrull/Dormammu/Felicia right now because Skrull/Dormammu is good at fighting Morrigan/Doom (which is all I fight anymore) and Felicia’s Rolling Buckler assist makes for some stupid ass shit with Skrull’s Meteor Smash ambiguous crossups or Dormammu’s rapid-fire teleport shenanigans.
I’ve used Haggar/Taskmaster/Felicia and Haggar/Dormammu/Felicia. I’d lean more towards the first because projectile assist is real good for letting Haggar get in.
I’d try this, but the MUGEN community itself makes me salty.
I need to find my anti-salt. Maybe I need to start playing Audiosurf and Shatter before and after Marvel sessions. (Now that I think about it, I bet the Vanilla Marvel vs Capcom 3 “You Win!” music would be fucking fun as hell in Audiosurf! Oh shit, I gotta try that…)
I play lots of games and this the FGC community is pretty much the only community I’m in… you don’t even have to be a part of MUGEN community, just download the program and get some characters and see if it’s cool for you :D.
Wow… That Doom infinite really does do a lot of damage. I thought people were exaggerating. Why does his do so much more damage than the others? You need like 10+ reps with Dantes to do any real damage lol.
I was heavily into MUGEN during high school and college. Was even trying to make some characters of my own. (Was working on making both an Elena and a Kula, since none of the ones out at the time did it for me. The guy who made Elena even openly stated that he never played SF3 before and was just basing things off of frame data he found online!) But I just stopped for various reasons and now it’s left a sour taste in my mouth.
That’s true. It’s hard and it’s not even worth it. All it does is give the other person meter. I haven’t tested it but I don’t even think he can get anything during the infinite. He has to finish the whole thing to kill someone while some other characters can do a hyper. Maybe he can eventually MM Sky Dance into a hyper. idk.
Shadow Chunli is badass, no lies… but Dark Chun-li is too OP.
Buuuut since it’s Shadow Chun-li we’re talking, she was pretty much my main in MvC1 outside of Ryu and Jin… it was still during the time I didn’t take FGs so seriously, but I really enjoyed MvC1 when I had a PSX.
For some reason, I’ve always liked this “dark” version of characters with powers added to them. If SChunli was added as a Lvl1 super in UMvC3, would Chunli be a lot better? If they did fix some of the problems she had in MvC1 it would’ve been great.
