I tried out Magneto/Morrigan/Phoenix today. I’ve gotten more rage quits than I’ve ever had in one day lmao.
Like a god damn boss! No really that is great since I love when I hear about Phoenix players and their adventures.
Does BBCP have a console release date yet or is it already out on consoles in Japan? As shallow as this sounds (I feel really shallow saying it) but one main factor is if it makes it to EVO or not. I will still get it more than likely (I am an Otaku after all) but it will affect if I play the game for the funsies by playing a character that I like because they are a character that I fucking love or playing it on a serious level by picking my favorite top tier character.
It just hit Arcades in Japan like last week so we don’t know when launch will be for console
I wish there was an 800K health, slightly better damaging Phoenix with no Dark gimmick
Yeah, I’m going to order it and give it a shot. At least then, I won’t be lost in BBCP like how I am in Guilty Gear.
Phoenix is a great character. I would definitely take out Dark Phoenix for some more life to work with. Hell, I wouldn’t even mind 700-750 life either.
ASW releases the console port ~6 months from the arcade release. It won’t make EVO2013 as an official game because the EVO games are decided in January and the game won’t come to console until like June/July. I’d be surprised if the BB community continues to show up offline long enough that it gets selected for EVO2014.

She’d probably be better than Magneto if that was the case. Getting her Dark is pretty easy with this team since I can build ~2 meters with a Magneto combo + I have Dark Harmonizer assist. No real neutral assist is kinda ass but I just switch my style to ultra lame. I really forgot how fun it is to pilot her after not playing her for 10 months, putting traps as big as the screen and watching them blow the opponent apart on incoming is really amusing lol.
I’ll probably stop playing it altogether once I end up playing against a decent Vergil though. 
I just slept for 9 hours straight. Nothing compares.

Yeah the few Phoenixes I’ve played in ranked during this game’s lifespan usually run Dark Harmonizer for obvious reasons. And yeah she is a pretty great character without the dark, the teleport, tri-dash, projectiles, traps, etc are all great. Buuuuuut at least she’s unique to the rest of the cast I guess with the Dark gimmick…I just want to play my favourite mutant ;___;
Also another reason for me to actually learn Vergil instead of Dark fraudulence? y u do dis

but in all seriousness Vergil feels really stiff to me hitconfirm wise. It’s almost like the the Ryu/Nova delay but worse for me, I doubt anyone else feels this and I’m just weird. I will say though I do love DHCing into the belt instead of getting punished for a bad Inferno >__>.
When I played chirp with him in the back I just put the belt up and played like a fraudulent nut…and it worked all but maybe two times because he’s a stupid character
