I haven’t really followed the different iterations of BBCS, but I was under the impression he had been nerfed slightly every version and that his character design just makes him really hard to balance.
I know from CT to CS they nerfed him a little bit by changing his curse mechanic to be slightly less ridiculous.
Oh, and “slippery” and he’s like made of oil or whatever, I see what you did there.
He did work against this Rachel player on stream… but he couldn’t stop the OCV. She was getting perfects almost every match.
I swear, it’s looking like this game is just like CT all over again. Bringing Nu back was a sign.
Amane is apparently really broke too. Rapes barriers and does ridiculous chip damage.
Maybe I’ll give BB:CP a shot. I played the hell out of CT(still sucked at it but hey, I played it a shit ton) barely touched CS, bought CS;EX, and the disc has never been out of the case yet. Not even sure why I took the shrink wrap off. it just feels like the game shifted far to much to 40+ second combos that only dealt 40% health or so over time, and that’s not a play style I’m either good at or enjoy.
I do find the story and characters to be quite entertaining though.

They’ve already revealed that Bang has been nerfed hard, hard, hard. Possibly on par with his bottom-tier CT self. If Taokaka has similarly been nerfed to the bottom half of the tier list, then I’ll be avoiding this game like the plague. Y’all can enjoy your Nu vs Nu Touhou battles.
