For all of the shit people give to Guility Gear/Blaz Blue, anime games are ironically more popular than 2d games that put emphasizes on ground based footsies in USA. It’s sad that SNK made a lot of games that could easily been popular in USA in modern day.
Like I don’t even understand how Samurai Showdown is less popular than Guility Gear for example.

There’s a lot less of them imo because they don’t have anything to gain so all they’re doing is wasting their time jumping from player match to player match. Occasionally I’ll get people who will lose to me until they win a game then leave; beat me the first game and then run out the clock; wait until the clock gets to 1 before rematching; or just try to troll it up and the character select screen. There’s many reasons for why that could be happening though so I don’t really look into it too much unless it’s really obvious. I just want to play and get better; if you wanna be a dumbass that’s fine because I’ll just leave. It’s just that ranked is even worse because there’s so many dodgers who run Pelican Tactics. In Player match the rematch button is right there and you know I’ve pressed it, so if you wanna pussy out when there’s no dumbass rank on the line then I know what kind of person you are.
Random player match is a nice way to meet new players as well.
You could be right, it’s just that from my experience I always get paired up with scumbags so I try to avoid it altogether. Bad luck I guess.

I don’t have extensive exp vs most of the cast yet, but so far I find she does pretty well against Teddie/Naoto/Liz/Kanji (Kanji is still scary when he closes in, I need more exp). Mitsuru/Narukami/Chie give her some problems. Everyone else is kinda in between.
