As far as pizza goes, those random hole-in-the-wall places tend to have the best stuff. Major places like Dominos and Pizza Hut can go play in traffic. Jerry’s is actually okay, though.
If you’re looking at frozen stuff, nothing beats a quick Totinos. Love that nice, thin crust!

Ay no worries. Like I said maybe its me, I’ve just always hated seeing people get “jumped” since I was younger and it used to happen to me. Hell I even met my best friend in Middle School because people were always getting on em and I just stood up for him.
Totinos would be my appetite killer a few years ago, that stuff was seriously good. Coscos frozen pizza is also a worthy mention.
So I had my first ever tournament experience today. Got up at 8:30, contemplated what to do between taking the cab, walking, or saying fuck it and going back to sleep. I forced myself up and walked there (45~ minute walk) and got there a bit before the tournament was supposed to start at 10. 10 rolls around and…nothing. No one there. -_- Well soon after, someone shows up and I ask about it, he says yeah there’s supposed to be a tournament there. He lets me in to just chill for a bit until it starts, I ended up playing MK9 for the first time because the first the guy didn’t have Marvel (the tournament organizer was bringing it). It was…boring, but whatever. Anyway, I wait for an hour and a half before realizing that there’s a good chance no one is coming and decide to give it 15 more minutes before leaving.
But then! People showed up! Granted we only got 9 total because it’s the first tournament ever here, but hell it was something. While we were waiting, I played casuals with a ZMC player and got wreeecked, like 8-2. Anyway, my first round is against the tournament organizer using Viper/Iron Man/Doom. I beat him 2-0 pretty easily. Second round was against a really good Frank/Spencer/Task guy, who I beat 2-1. Due to a screwup with the brackets, I played against a guy in losers (don’t remember his team) and 2-0’d him before they realized I wasn’t supposed to play against him.
In winners finals, I played against a Spencer/Frank/Tron guy who totally caught me off guard because he didn’t seem to be that great in his matches. He won 2-1 and sent me into losers. In losers finals I fought that ZMC guy who had wrecked me in casuals and won 3-1 (for some reason losers finals was 3/5 but winners was 2/3, though I think that that was because the tournament organizer wasn’t around during winners finals because of other business).
Then! Grand finals! Me vs. the Spencer/Frank/Tron who sent me to losers. He wins the first two and my tournament life is on the line. And then I just…won. I just went all out and played as hard as I could and won the next six straight, resetting the brackets and then winning. As the matches progressed it was just more and more dominant. By the last match there was just nothing he could do. I was confident and he was getting frustrated (like, setting down his controller in anger every time I got a hit) frustrated and I just dominated him with an OCV and won the tournament.
I won $60 for it which isn’t amazing (it was $15 to enter, so $45 profit basically) but I was more just happy to actually win. I was super super happy considering that’s my first offline experience and it was against people who have a lot of it (four of the people play against each other fairly regularly and one of them goes to weeklies in St. Louis). I took it from online to offline and it was enough to get me a win. Sooo yeah sorry for the wall of text but I’m super super super proud right now because I never thought I’d do well at all, let alone win. 
I absolutely loved the burgers at Applebees.
I never tried a Red Robin’s burger. I feel ashamed now.

and as for Pizza’s the only thing I real have around here is Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, and Dominos and some decent local places. PJs is the truth, Pizza Hut was my go to but got ass as the years went by and Dominos is I’m like 1/2 away from the Delivery ratio which blows,

lol, I’m about playing the game. I don’t care about you whining because you lost or brag because you won. I’m interested in playing the set, if that’s what we’re going to do, so I can have an understanding of whom I’m dealing with. That’s one thing Marvel has that this game doesn’t. The ability to turn off mics.
Oh and if you going through hard times and got like… 5 duckies to your name. Digornio’s Fucking Pizza is the way to go son. 5 bucks for damn near any pizza of your desire is the SHIT.

Digornio’s is great, but Target selects Pizza and Red Baron, which is two dollars less, is the best way to go. Come home from work on a bad day and stop by Target to get a select Pizza for 3 and some change… you can’t beat that.
