The Xbox version of 98UM includes vanilla 98, but the Xbox version of 2k2UM doesn’t incluse vanilla 2k2. I’m not sure why they didn’t include vanilla 2k2 in 2k2UM.
I think that Japan still prefers vanilla 98 over 98UM, but I’m not exactly sure on why that is. I think it’s the system changes and lower damage all around. They definitely prefer 2k2UM over vanilla 2k2 there though. They play 2k2UM more than KOF 13 although 13 seems to be gaining some players there.

Apparently if the video resolution and framerate aren’t exactly the same in both the OBS settings and inside the Elgato settings, all I get is a red screen. But in order to change the Elgato settings while it’s being used in OBS, I need for the preview to be running properly already. It’s working at 1280x720, when before I was trying lower resolutions. I guess it should scale the 640x480 video feed to 16:9 better like this anyway.
