I use the PS3 one and it doesn’t seem to give me as much trouble. Still gives me trouble, but not nearly to the same extent as the 360 one. Maybe I just got a bad pad, I dunno.
I’ve tried many other pads, like the SFxT ones, the digital thumbstick ones, Nubytech SF anniversary PS2 controllers with converters, and a few others and none have worked out for me.
Yeah now I figured it out. You guys should pick up Ghost Rider cuz he bodies Doom.

Black Ops 2 is out in about an hour here. I wont be going to the midnight release, hell, I possibly wont be buying the game, but I am interested to see what my CoD playing friends think of it. Modern Warfare 3 was a huge disappointment for me but I loved Black Ops after the clusterfuck that was MW2. If Black Ops 2 = Black Ops but better, I might get it.
I do dig shooters in limited doses, they’re not my BnB but I play them. I don’t have XBLA so I didn’t bother with Halo 4 (not big on single player). I’m hoping Black Ops is good because at least the lobbies are always full on CoD games.

My favourite shooter of this generation is Resistance, another Resistance game would be great, or Timesplitters. Timesplitters on the PS2 was brilliant. Other than that, I’ve always been a big fan of Quake + Doom, I should really get the remake of Doom 3.
As much as I like Resistance, it just went downhill after the first one. I didn’t even bother with 3.
You must not know me too well if you expect me to play Doom or Spencer. Im actually thinking about picking back my old team of Strider/Dante/Ammy. Two low health characters but a team I wouldnt mind playing

3 had the best plot, the most confused multiplayer, so much broken shit but it was somewhat fun, I enjoyed it a lot around release. Another gripe with 3’s multiplayer was that Playstation Move gave you an unfair advantage with a bit of practice.
2 was probably the best game in the series for multiplayer, worst for single player. I recommend 3 if you want to play through the campaign, I usually hate single player FPS games but the single player in Resistance 3 is on the same sort of level as Half Life 2, it’s pretty impressive.
Well, there’s no chance of another Timesplitters game now…
Considering buying Halo 4, haven’t heard much bad about it. I don’t really like console shooters but Halo was fun once. I hear this one is a lot better than Reach, not saying much though.
Still has Timesplitters 2 for the gamecube

Yeah I still have it as well for PS2, that game was incredible, Time Splitters Future Perfect is a true 10 / 10 as well, I adore that series. Shame the dev company has gone and stopped production on 4 to pump out more Crysis.
Timesplitters was the best.
But Free Radical is on the long list of game developers that went completely bankrupt on one release.

Yeah, I was just giving a suggestion. I was telling Ace to try out Dante/Storm/Strider since there’s some really unique stuff there. You should give it a shot too. The Hail Storm DHC into Devil Trigger is very fun and interesting. I really like Dante/Ammy shell too.
Yeah, they’re part of Crytek as well, who are too busy making Crysis games to care about any other shooter. If they did make Timesplitters 4 they’d have it competing with their other Sci - Fi shooter IP and they don’t want that… it’s a big mess. It might get resolved one day, but not soon.
