That, and Astral Vision is loads better in hunter, it took some terrible nerfs when it became a Dark Force. Like, the vertical dash Morri got is really nice, but 12 frames before she can act out of her dash, when the hop dasher have no such restriction? I don’t get it. Dash, j.LK instant over, chain to Shell kick, cancel to DI was pretty awesome, and if you don’t have meter, you can just link that into low short and chain to sweep. I may play Hunter more than I thought when Resurrection comes out. They added Cryptic Needle and Finishing Shower too, but both are complete gimmick supers I could live without.
Accidentally let it time out on the speed select the first time too, normal speed in hunter is like half the speed of SF4. That was amazingly slow.
Oh, and Cactus, you’ve been the only person so far on GGPO I don’t miss 9 out of 10 DI inputs vs, and the only one I can actually tech hit.

Sav made a lot of weird move changes. Sas lost his iceball and instead got the air puff (did he also have his tatsu in Hunter? I think he did), Bishamon only had air spirit and his ground fireball was the sword throw, Morrigan got nerfed big time, Fish’s unblockable was turned into a joke super, Victor lost his Balrog rushes and one of his cmd grabs was made DF-exclusive (the cool-looking one where he spins around a bunch). I honestly don’t know a ton about Hunter, so I know I’m forgetting a lot. And yeah, it does feel really slow compared to Sav.
Not sure about the DI inputs (psychological?), but you probably tech hit me because I get predictable. I can stagger my inputs in training, but online makes me afraid of dropping chains so I end up mashing out the whole thing and get tech hitted/GC’d.

I don’t blame you for your choice in teams. I blame myself for not being able to even do a god-damn dragon punch motion.
I can assure you, if I was able to do even half the moves I wanted to do, I’d have stood a far better chance. Sadly, almost ever opportunity was not acted upon because I couldn’t even do anything that required a fucking diagonal input consistently. I’m in training mode right now and dropping easy-peasy combos on PS3 about 5 out of 6 times I attempt them. Seriously, I can’t even do day 1 magic series consistently because the fucking S sometimes decides to not show up for work that day.
Fucking Christ, I’ve not been this fucking pissed in a while. My eyes literally started fuzzing out and I started seeing what looked like fireflies all over the place because I was raging so hard I much have rushed all the blood to my head.
Need a new 360 pad. Yet I’ve tried all of them and they all suck. Fucking Christ, why doesn’t anyone make quality six-button pads anymore…

I play pad for Marvel, stick for everything else. I’ve tried to play stick for Marvel many times, but I can’t do it.
I dunno why I can only do pads with Marvel. I usually say it’s because I can’t block crossups and mixups with the speed you need to do it on a stick, but I play VSav and KOF on stick and don’t feel handicapped on those games. I dunno.

Eh, kof mix ups aren’t as hard to defend against as marvel mix ups, and you can block most of them on reaction.
A lot of things in Vanguard Princess make me think Skullgirls (or the other way around) as far as art direction goes, far more than AH3. And it’s not just because all the characters are girls. It has kind of an equivalent artstyle. Hard to describe.
