Wesker always should’ve been an 850-900k character imo, not a 1.1m character.

I don’t think they should get rid of it, but instead make put in a “Classic” & “Original” option in the menu like they have with sound and music. It’s obvious where they were going with the design choice, I for one prefer the vanilla version.
I just think it’s dumb that the point character is the middle bar instead of the top now, and it’s really hard to see the health of the assist chars.
We’ve all gotten used the list being “1,2,3” and now they made it “2,1,3.” That’s dumb.

How are you getting hit mid combo by Flame Carpet?! It’s not that hard to just launch right away if you hit him.

Holy crap, I watched the video, and that’s hilarious. Except for Dormammu users, since he’s invincible to projectiles during that.
ROFL, Flame Carpet lasts THREE SECONDS. It’s a pain in the ass to keep refreshed, I don’t even bother a good portion of the time anymore because so many characters have ways around it.
FYI, drones do go away if Sentinel gets hit while doing them.

I’m wondering if they gave him some kind of actual special(instead of command normal) version of Charging Star, from that clip it looks like the distance varies a couple times.
If the range of Taskmaster’s back+:h: really has gone significantly further, then I’d love to see how far it goes with a dash kara input. Otherwise, perhaps the variation in distance might be because the player is sometimes using the kara input and sometimes not.

Wesker’s air forward throw used to throw the person farther away but that sounds like both forward and back throw push them away now. That would be a definite nerf for Wesker if he can no longer air throw people and get damage without a corner. He still has port to assist call to set up a mix up I guess. Plus still gonna have those derpy 1 frame command grabs I’m sure.

I’m worried that normal damage and X-Factor will stay as it is now.
They’ve already confirmed in multiple places that X-factor has been toned down and normalized across characters. Nothing said for just overall damage, period, though.
shield charge is the same speed and distance ya’ll, the guy just was doing a wavedash into shield charge as to increase momentum and speed of it
taskmaster keeps his momentum during all his actions, so if he does like backdash-> shield charge he’ll go really slow and barely go anywhere.
he can actually go about the same distance as h berserker slash with it, though it’s not as retarded or invincible
I’m sure it’s in, too. But, still the brief uses of him so far just so whiffed :h:'s and him getting blown up. Chris fires his shotgun once and we see more buffs with him than we’ve seen with Hulk, so far.

She’s a lot faster. Nothing really noticeable other than in-air speed. Nobody has used her Gold Assist yet, to my knowledge.
Hulk isn’t even good enough of a character where they would need to do anything like change up his armor frames. At least you don’t have to worry about the armor frames going away. If anything I would expect nothing but buffs for Hulk with maybe some slight nerfs on the size of his hit boxes. Though that’s a big maybe considering no one has really blown up tourneys with Hulk outside of maybe Airtola back during the old days of Vanilla.
Well people like Floe, and some posters on this board have said the reduction really isn’t that much. Also normal damage seems higher, than vanilla.
Unless they nerf his dash and Samurai Edge’s speed and range, it won’t mean much since he could combo off both his front air throw which pushed away midscreen.
