UMvC3 - List of Changes

Magneto has a move that pulls the opponent closer to him, one that pushes them farther away (Storm has both these moves as well) and Magneto has a gravity controlling move, kind of. If the opponent is in the air and Magneto does it, they immediately fall to the ground. Good shit.

Taskmaster has a grab-like move that we only saw the start of in the trailer. What it does is if it hits, it goes into a grab-like animation. Not sure if you can combo off of it yet.

Ryu seems to be able to charge all of his specials.
-Can charge a hadoken so that it goes full screen in an instant and is invisible.
-Shoryuken can be charged to be stronger and emit a blue flame, flame erupts at the end of the shoryuken.
Ryu’s normal Hadoken doesn’t go full screen anymore it seems. Looks like Short only goes a small distance, medium a bit more, and heavy goes full screen.

Iron Man’s unibeam seems DRASTICALLY faster than before. Probably more spammable.

You can now X-factor in the air.

• Phoenix can only have one action per jump… meaning one fireball then she floats down.

• Characters now say something upon entering the screen when the previous character died.

• Many of the returning cast has new moves, or moves that act differently, (Ryu’s Hyper Fireball now bounces off of walls, Taskmaster and Spencer are shown with new moves.)

• Ghost Rider has at least 2 special moves that OTG, and his two level one supers appear to OTG. His level 3 super is a grab where he uses the Penance stare on you.

• Strider is the first character to have two level 3 supers, (Ragnarok, and the Ouroboros.) Most of his moveset from Marvel 2 was shown. His robot animal super OTGs.

• Firebrand’s level 3 appears to summon a computer controlled doppleganger firebrand to assist.

• Hawkeye’s level 3 super OTGs. He fires off Antman, who hits the opponent, then grows in size and gives the opponent the biggest Monty Python boot known to man. Hawkeye has different arrows he can fire depending on the button pressed (frozen shot, poison shot, piercing shot, triple arrow, scatter shot, and net shot are shown.)

• Wolverine’s Berserker Slash is not invincible and slower.

• Viewtiful Joe has the “Slow Dodge” move now. It’s a special move that’s super cancellable. In the Viewtiful Joe games, if you activated Slow and you got attacked, you’d dodge.

• Magneto has a new special move where he sucks you in with magnetism. Gravitation magnetizes the opponent. Repulsion pushes them away. Attraction pulls them towards you. His air-to-ground dash is slower now.

• Akuma’s Hurricane Kick Assist doesn’t knock down anymore, the opponent will flip out.

• Ryu can charge up his fireballs and they fly so quickly you can barely see them on screen. Charging can be done by holding down the button, like in Street Fighter X Tekken. A fully charged fireball will explode on contact, causing a wall bounce. He can also charge his Shoryuken now.

• Taskmaster has a new move called the Charge Sting. It impales the opponent, can combo into it.

Dormammu’s Flame Carpet OTG now pushes the opponent very far away. Much harder to combo from, even with an assist.

GODDAMN IT CAPCOM, Ryu wasn’t that bad in the original.

Umm Wolverine has a move called…Swiss Cheese…and he stabs the air quickly. I’m assuming its a move similar to lightning legs and tenderizer. But wow hearing him say it…new meme coming up

Side aerial exchanges don’t cost you meter, they drain meter on your opponent.
Chun li looks to have a damage boost but that could just be what looks like everyone dieing faster.
Chun li now glows red when she holds down once her SBK is ready.

jesus i have no idea how im going to deal with magneto and storm with haggar now with that new push and pull move… infact i dont know how anyone with out a projectile is going to get in on thouse guys now

Yea idk why they gave Magneto such a move lol, hes fast as hell already (Although I heard dash + Dissrapthurarr nerf) but that’s insane. Storm needed it, he didnt

She-Hulks slide definitely got a speed and distance nerf

Ehh, I was hoping they’d keep the nerfing to a minimum. The broken stuff is what makes it more fun! If anything, buff the crap out of the lower tiered characters IMO.

I think I saw on stream earlier that Arthur’s jumping :h: makes him fall faster, and I *think *his Lancers fly faster.

So what exactly do we know about X-Factor?

Anything about Tron Fire? Super Skrull?

Come on man, this is capcom. They overnerf and overbuff all the time.

Im just hoping they improved Iron man by giving more range on his launcher , speeding up his unibeam is ok but its not needed at all. He has other issues that needs to be fix.

My question is if they have finally changed it so that characters turn around when they super jump over their opponents? If not, let’s please get Capcom to address this.

Hopefully they made his launcher safer as well, along with a health boost and an actually useful c.H. It also seems that they made the recovery on Proton Cannon faster which is definitely good.

The #1 thing that Iron Man needs fixed is removing his cr.H. That move is fucking useless

Where did you hear this? I am curious about the DHC glitch but can’t find anything
