Well I usually play on a 1989 Sharp TV, so the sound is not HD clear. Whenever I activate his X-factor he goes “WIPE ME DOWN”
I seriously doubt Hawkeye is saying “Wipe me down”. Should be able to check it individually in the Gallery sounds section. But “Wipe me down” is pretty out of character.
Phoenix is alive…thats also out of character.

I haven’t, but I like Dorm a lot better in Vanilla. I hate the air down-back dash nerf.
Doom is better in this game, and he got his best friend back, so I’m more happy with this game.
Also, the bitch got nerfed, which makes for a better game for everyone.
Using Amaterasu’s name like that will get you nowhere
but with Strider’s Vajra assist now everyone wants to be his best friend, poor Doom 
I like New Dorm over old Dorm. He more free to reek havoc with out being tied down to a flame carpet.
the funny thing is phoenix isn’t that dramatically different. I rarely ever saw anyone besides people who new how to play her using her srk input move, that shit is fast and stops a decent amount of stuff. and playing phoenix im more than sure the player is already willing to take a risk.
get this i used storm morrigan and phoenix and get this. i used dark phoenix and did… oh my… a magic series combo. guys she has stuff besides crouching l.
Strider assist is the new Chun assist. Completely over rated. With some actual reaction you can kill him with a single counter super. If you’re calling a 750k heath character for a raw assist you are asking for all kinds of rape. Also, it isn’t universally good like Doom assists. It requires a point character that can convert hard knockdowns into damage.
It’s a good AA yeah, but not the S tier tool everyone is making it out to be. Then again, time will tell.
This is all too true, it is excellent, you just can’t call it like Drones or get too spam happy with it. Ghost Rider seems to own that assist pretty well, can’t really call it unless full screen because Ghost Rider swinging dem chains usually always catches him in startup or as he comes down. This assist is pretty vital for my Iron Fist.
Just about any of the characters that are actually good can convert hard knockdowns into a ton of damage tho

also i’ll be honest, i thought morrigans meter draining fireball would be trash, but that + any level of x-factor with astral vision is instantly someone from four bars to like 1 or zero.

Yeah, Vanilla is a combo theorist’s dream. The limitations in Ultimate make me not like it as much.

You might not realize it, but most of Vanilla’s(and Ultimate) top/high tier were hybrids between good keepaway and even better rushdown. The only guy who had no zoning prowess whatsoever was Wolverine who had to go in for days.

Dog: Paper, Cold Star
Trish: Volts, Round Harvest, Traps
Phoenix: Traps, Salty balls
They all have in common the ability to open you up for free as well as lame the fuck out of you. I remember when the people I used to play called me keepaway Dante.
Now that I think about it, she creepily changes looks all the time.
