Strider is alot more fun to use this time around. I’m glad that they were able to keep most moves the same. Too bad I can’t teleport in any part of this screen anymore.

Shuma has literally jumped a tier in ultimate, I’m sticking to ground loops and ending with a hard knockdown J.S and following up with HMR or Chaos Dimension (ground). He’s so much more viable. Also Strange’s Bolts of Bolthakk are perfect for Shuma. They come out slow and give you enough time to High/low mix up. Iron Fist’s crescent heel is a great OTG follow up as well.

Just finished a first to 3 match with mah lil bro. For some reason Mahvel feels slow like SF… Maybe it’s just because i took a break from it? Also i can’t even do a basic LMHS^MMHS:QCF:MS Relaunch loop anymore… WTF?!

Lol, Dante can’t complain about shit. One of the best characters in the game and he got miniscule hit stun nerfs that don’t even stop him from doing million+ damage. And to compliment his tiny hitbox tweaks he gets triple jumps and double air dashes. Dude made out of MVC3 like a bandit. Lucky bastard.

That’s the way I feel about Wesker. Guy is way better now than he was in regular MvC3.
His LMHS doesnt connect 99% of the time(the most basic combo in the game) meaning you almost always have to do Stinger BC, the window to Bold Cancel was shortened which doesnt change much offline but online it can fuck you up, Stinger crosses up a LOT making you do the wrong moves after a BC and can sometimes cause a glitch that will make you switch sides with your opponent if you used Stinger during a block string, and his good bnbs from Vanilla either dont work and need to be done differently or are very hard to time. He’s not garbage now or anything but it seems like Capcom made him harder to use execution wise while most of the other top tier can still do the same bnbs from Vanilla. A perfect example would be the first two things I posted: LMHS almost never combos so you have to use BC combos more. But when you do use those combos, you have to input the special move faster. And then once you’ve done that you have to make sure you’re timing is correct bc HSD timing is a bitch in this game.

yo dis netcode is fucking godlike. after deal with that the netcode in the last game im able to perform better online in this game. im not losing to scrubs mashing and having input delays…yeah its not the best and it still lags from time to time but compared to vanilla mvc3!? i’ll take it
LMHS not connecting is a complete non-issue. You always wanted to stinger/bc or prop shredder anyway. Who cares his bad combos don’t work when his old BnB’s (which lets face it, should’ve been nerfed) are still intact with slightly more demanding timing. His new BnB’s do over a million so you can’t complain about damage. His execution has been made drastically easier with style cancels being an extra button (that FAR outweighs the issue of tighter timing). His combos were simple to begin with (not including online, but online is online) and the one tricky thing about them has been simplified.
Literally nothing has changed about Dante despite being S tier in MVC3. Only thing he lost was the most bullshit move in the game, Hammer and its nonsense invincibility converting to full TOD. His buffs are massive and his nerfs mild at best. One of the most solid mix up characters got a DOUBLE air dash in DT? Are you shitting me!? You literally cannot complain at all. He will shit all over everyone in Ultimate. Nothing has changed. Even with meter building being nerfed, he still builds two meters in a combo like no tomorrow.
Seriously lets get this straight. Your S+ tier character got away with nothing but loss of invincibility on hammer, slightly less reach on his still RIDICULOUSLY long and SAFE normals with no extended hurtbox and hit stun decay that does fuck all to prevent his old BnB’s and just changes the timing… and you’re complaining!?
