the problem with Wright is the randomness of gathering evidence. I’ve had matches where I had slot 1 and 3 with good evidence and the 2nd slot i went through 6 + bad pieces of evidence until i got a good one
I think I was the first person to point out that Hsien Ko looked absolute garbage in the Hsien Ko thread. I was met with a lot of optimism actually. Despite pointing out she slow, weak and had no health everyone kept assuring me pendulum would be gateway to mix up city.

anyone got any suggestion for a good cotnroller for the 360 i bought a converter and the stupid thing is sometimes unresposive and in marvel it has me drop combos or fuck up a block string like a pro…any suggestions?
I think I remember that. Mostly pre-release stuff, though. My heart personally sank when I saw how goddamn slow she was in the trailer, and I was just a mere lurker around that time. All went to shit about Week 2. I still call Page 47 of the old thread the Wailing Wall.
My point is that the Wright community isn’t having a meltdown, though that may just be because no one knew what to expect of him.
I’ve been thinking about whether his items are on an internal timer. Say, the item pickup move is an a constant rotation of items that resets at 60 Frames. At X frames, Wright can get a Phone. At Y, he gets food. After 60 frames, the cycle starts over. Hsien-Ko’s work this way. Probably couldn’t do anything with it, but it’d be cool to know.
Phoenix Wright’s only real bad matchups are characters that have teleports. Try gathering evidence while calling Maya or an assist, and the opponent teleports right above, or behind you. The problem also goes to the fact that Turnabout Mode forces you not to do your Lvl3, because then the mode is over. Just do his Lvl3 at the very end, or at the middle of Turnabout’s duration so it’s not predictable. He also needs assists to be more effective, so he’s better on point. Also, I love doing combos with his :h: all the time, they do so much damage! Reminds me of playing baseball for some reason.
He’s just not like Frank West, where you just land a hit and do a long combo to get to lvl4 easily with assists, not to mention he stays permanently on any level.

Also why is it that when i’m blocking a long lasting attack and i try to block low i’ll sometimes get hit by a low attack anyways? That’s starting to get really annoying.

I hate to say it…But dear god, I think Frank is the derpiest newcomer by a large margin. I hate to say that in a game with Vergil, but seriously, does anyone do anything with him other than Divedivedive rollrollroll? I miss TvC Frank, he was more fun to play and was far less n00b friendly.
Had my first major team switches of the game, went from my trial teams of dormammu/strange/shuma, IF/Firebrand/Arthur,modok/hawkeye/ghostrider to Firebrand/GhostRider/dormammu, IF/Hawkeye/Shuma, Modok/strange/deadpool. Im finding these teams much more comfortable. The cosmic team stayed the same though. Still not sure who i end up with at the end of it all, but i will enjoy getting there.

If they diverollin then they ain’t punchin/swingin. Though i think it has some sort of invulnerable frames on it.

Good damage yes but i find alot of his moves easy to punish. He needs some execution to do the fancy stuff and alot of people i play online don’t seem to realize his specials and his beam hyper eat red health. . not derp friendly imo
I don’t understand why people are complaining about noob friendly characters in Marvel 3 of all things. This game was designed from the ground up to be easy to play.
