Kinda tempted to start a SRK UMvC3 lobby on XBL. I donāt think many people here have this game yet though. By āhereā I mean this thread.
So played the game for the first time yesterday, played my old team of storms/sent/ammy for a bit and they still work really well together so Im happy. Then I tried out hakweye/sent/trish and I absolutely love that team, Im prolly biased now cause I won quite a few games and people hadnāt figured my team out yet but I think its a solid team and that trish assist set up so many command grabs for sentinel it was shocking.
As for overall impressions of the game, on paper it looks like the playing field has been evened quite a bit, sure everyone is on the vergil/wesker gravy train right now, but a lot of characters got really good in this game, plus I canāt think of a single top tier that isnāt still viable. Im yet to see a single phoenix so I donāt know, but I have very little doubt filipino champ isnāt going to rape people at the next major he goes to. Im really excited to see the evolution of the meta-game over time, wesker is all the hotness right now, but people are forgetting about a lot of other good characters like doom, zero, dormammu, captain america. And peeps are overreacting on the magneto nerfs, dudes mix-ups are still nasty.
Finally, what happened to the dr. strange hype? Im sorry I just really gotta laugh at how few stranges there are now despite everyone calling him op cause of his announcement trailer. With that said I am excited to see how he develops over time cause he looks like one of them characters that will become more and more popular as time goes by(see viper).
Overall Im excited for ultimate, I have no doubt BS is going to be discovered and hommies are gonna get salty but honestly despite all that I strongly believe this is gonna be a much much more balanced game than vanilla.

Best thing to do is to create another PSN account on your console and apply your code to that account.
Then on your main account you can buy the full pack when it comes out.
I donāt believe 360 has this problem.
You can then trash the secondary account if you wish mate.

Still better than having a million accounts to access all your content. At least this way itās temporary and you can still bring your main account over to wherever once the full content is out to have access to everything.
CashCom / Sony isnāt sympathetic, unfortunately. But I have 4 random accounts for this very fact to just horde minor updates that I know will have full ones later.

Aww man, had a pretty epic comeback against a guy online. It was only my Nova left against his Doom, my XFactor was gone, he still had a bit left. We both had like, a sliver of health left. His Doom tried to chip me out with fullscreen Photon Array and I thought āOhh crapā.
But then I remembered Novaās Human Rocket hyper was projectile invincible, so I did that and just aimed down at him. Tackled the crap out of him and won the match. I was pretty proud of myself, felt like a real āDonāt Give Up!ā moment to me.
ā¦but then I lost to a Vergil team and his j.:s: and realized I still suck.
Yea I gotta pick up the guide soon, need my frame data and such. I keep hearing vergils normals arenāt safe but I need to know how unsafe, cause safe is a relative term especially in marvel.
I donāt care about how much people hate Wesker, how bad or good he may be, whether or not heās bullshit, if he wants to castrate you, etc. because S.T.A.R.S Wesker. All arguments are invalid.
Iām thinking about teaming him up with Chris since I do want to play Chris REALLY badly. Possibly with Hawkeye or Ammy. Maybe Nemesis instead for some RE flavor?

The hitstun decay system in this game is fuckin stupid.
Seriously tho, I did a short 1 bar combo with Vergil and it did less damage than a longer version of the same combo with 2 bars
I find Nova to be a dick (lol richard) but I really like his voice actor. Hearing āSPEED TACKLE, TAKE DOWNā always gets me hype.
