Personally I don’t like the idea of playing a team of 3 new characters, if your running ghost and hawkeye then an assist like either drones or cold star would seem ideal since it can cover the angles your boys can’t. Either that, or run trishs peekabo assist to help protect your boys from careless teleporters, id suggest chris’s landmine as well, but only if your running him second, Im not a big fan of chris as anchor.

For the most part I’ve been running Ghost/Hawkeye/Ammy or Akuma but I’m trying to get more familiar with the new guys and it’s a good feeling beating an all vanilla team with all new guys (not easy but fun)

Looks like I ended up pairing Frank with Nemesis, they actually work great for THCs if you know how to use them correctly. I’m loving using Nemesis, that cute monster is dangerous with those combos! m(×○×)m

I’m pretty much okay with the new HUD… why do people make such a big deal of it? Just think that your Assist 1 is at the bottom and Assist 2 is at the top, it’s not that hard >_<".

By the way, that Phoenix Wright assist is too good, and I kinda hate that people that I faced today were just using him as an assist… it annoys me (like when people use Haggar as an anchor, yuck). And… today I got KO’d by a Vergil player… his combo was so long that I could finish drinking my coke.

I picked an All Random team and went against a Wolverine/Wesker/Akuma (apparently he didn’t get the memo about BFFs). I somehow drew a shitty team, but pushed the guy to his limit and I lost. Then he starts teabagging me and taunting. So in response I switched to my main team and perfected him (while in the process I would taunt everytime his character would down). He send rage mail calling me a spammer, a cheater, and started cursing like crazy. Thanks to the insanity you guys normally cause, I sent back “You mad bro?” Lol

I normally use Phoenix like any other character I use and that’s for rushdown (but DAMN he’s slow).

More like why do all the douchebags online use Wolverine and/or Wesker. I can’t tell if Wolverine players are trolling or if they’re serious if they win then they taunt. Like, do you actually feel accomplished for winning with that character?

Speaking of Wolverine, Zero vs. Wolverine is a hilarious matchup. He can’t go through buster on the ground anymore with B-Slash and I can actually safely DP and combo him from the DP with the Buster cancel if he tries to dive kick, lmao.

I ran into alot of ppl that I don’t think know about nerfs to Wolvie & Tron. Also PW press the witness assist in turnabout mode is the funnest thing to spam on someone who throws out random hypers. I sent Nemmy, Arthur, Wesker and Dante to jail with his lvl 3, kinda felt bad for doing it to Arthur

This game is so fun im currently using a combination of vergil(rapid slash assist),spencer(armor piercer),and hawkeye(triple shot assist) or tasky (vertical arrows). This team is so fun, vergil has some interesting combos and paired with hawkeyes arrows or tasky you can do some good mixups like any other porters. Spencer i need to get use to his new zipline speed im dropping alot of his relaunch combos >_< but nonetheless that speed helps alot :). Hawkeye i think once i get his combos down he might end up replacing taskmaster. I’am definitely have more fun with this game then i did with vanilla sad part i still havent renwed my xbla account so i guess i have to grind it out in training mode for the time being!!

I feel exactly the same way. When a Wesker or Wolverine taunts, I usually laugh…Especially if it’s after beating someone that I’m trying to learn (like PW or Hawkeye) or against Tron.
