I will see if can join, I don’t think I am ready because I didn’t have vanilla because I didn’t have a PS3 back then (I played with a friend like twice and he was much worse than me) and I can’t do anything decent with anyone except for Wesker (yeah he is that derpy and thats why I won’t play him) but I think some matches will help me alot even if I am going to drop combos left and right and get destroyed a few times and I really want to get better at this game (some tips would be really helpful lol)

If his block string ends with Vajira without an assist covering it, you can do one of three things: 1. Chicken block and punish him. 2. X-factor guard cancel it. 3. Attempt to throw it since he is at -9 (don’t rely on this too much due to teching during recovery frames). Once Strider has you pressured, wait for a gap to escape or x-factor guard cancel if he is getting into close range or too complacent. You really can’t contend with his cypher normals if he spaces them well and satellite shots leave him at plus 8, has a two frame startup, and can be canceled into from Gram and Ame-no-Murokumo (the moves where his sword turns blue). Be careful when he has a satellite summoned.
Like OnlyWingedAngel said, you can also just snap him in, but he may try to escape with excalibur(this move is essentially an airdash with a hitbox so be careful) or smack you with his bigass j.H. Unfortunately I don’t play any of the characters you play except a tiny bit of Vergil. Vergil has more range on his normals, but if Strider dodges them, he can whiff punish you from even 3/4ths a screen away thanks to his dash. He can also use the tiger as a shield and wavedash behind it since it can nullify attacks so be wary of them if he gets to call one midscreen.
I was just gonna tell you that. It doesnt matter how good you are, the matches will just be for fun and the bonus is, you’ll have tons of people here who will help you out and point out you’re problems.

I just played a Hawkeye/Sentinel/Strider team. Nothing in this entire game has made me want to tear off my hair more.
Im pretty sure this game has given me grey hairs. Online just makes it worse. I never noticed how bad the input lag was until I noticed I couldnt block random teleports -_-
