I agree with everything you have to say except this part. I think he is going to dominate Ultimate for the entirety of the game’s lifespan. Not because he’s the best character in the game, far from it, but because he’s easy, and the high level Marvel 3 community is nothing if not lazy as all fuck.
I agree he is easy to use, but the reason why I made that claim was cause I think with time he might become harder to win with if people figure him out. He doesn’t have the invisible 50/50’s wolverine had in vanilla so as time goes by people might get better at blocking him which would either force wesker players to find someone else with easier mix-ups or get better with their wesker game. Plus, the minute people find a character that actually gives wesker serious issues, all of a sudden he isn’t as easy to win with anymore because there exists a match-up where you have to gasp work harder than your opponent.
But I do agree 100 percent the marvel community is a different kind of lazy, its amazing how little of the actual game mechanics a lot of people know. Oh well time will tell and it’ll be interesting to see how the game develops. Can’t wait for NEC.

Anyone else having problems doing quick cancels or karas and getting a hyper instead?
I’ve noticed sometimes when I try to do instant air freeze shot I get level 3 instead ( even with nonsimultaneous inputs ). I know why it happens and how to fix it, but it’s still annoying.
I knew Mag’s Repulsion was cheap as hell but I didn’t expect guaranteed unblockables by holding them in the corner.
I’m assuming Storm has something similar.

Im having a lot more trouble TKing moves in this than Vanilla for some reason. I was playing Ammy and missing her super bc of it
I want to see that for the lulz. I actually got beat by a good Morrigan and Trish player. His Felicia was just spam super fast attacks and her new Delta air kick. So many match-ups I dont know:(

As for Felicia… expect to see a potential flood of them online. Shady K just raped with her on the FinestKO stream.
EDIT: Might I add, the flood will soon abate once people realize she’s too hard to use online/harder to use than Wesker and will just go back to him.
I’ve always had trouble TKing in MvC3, the game feels like it takes a really long time to put you in an airborne state.
I gotta admit, that air Delta kick always gets me. Some of the cross-ups in this game just piss me off though. Zero’s cross-up game is ridiculous plus his normals moves him twds you to get him in range if he was off by an inch or so. Lets not even talk about Buster covering his ass /salt
Well, I’ve had to practice TKing moves for Dante and Ammy so I’ve just gotten used to it. Thats the great thing about this game, a lot of times, it’s easier to learn something bc you’ve had to practice something similar with a different character. I looked at the Ammy forums and it said “…sS sj Okami Shuffle” and I looked at it like “Why not just TK it?”
In retaliation I also see a potential flood of Strider Varja and Doom missile players online.
