Depends on who the writer is, though. In some cases, Kryptonite is extremely fatal to Superman. In other cases, it causes a headache at best.
I’ve seen Supes collapse to the ground in a fetal position due to coming into contact with a small chunk of it. I’ve seen the same Supes take about the same about of Kryptonite into his own hand and crush it into a bunch of crumbs, looking pissed off and more than capable of kicking ass.
It all depends on the pen holder. Which is kinda my point.
Bullshit. Goku is neither magic nor do his Ki Blasts contain Kryptonite. Meanwhile, all Supes would have to do is use his laser eyes to melt Goku’s skull.

Comics are probably the most inconsistent medium when it comes to character strengths, it’s not even worth arguing. The freaking Hulk got choked by a python before and Strange got shot (by hitler’s gun). DC also revamped their whole universe so I don’t even know how strong superman is anymore.
I’ll bite. for the sake of arguement, Superman isn’t hurt by Kryptonite and no one has any.
NOW…how exactly does Superman beat Goku? Goku’s resistance to attacks is off the charts. Hes been shattering axes with his skull since hes a kid. Nowadays, most characters fully charged attacks are easily blocked by him. Thats IF he lets them hit him. He not only is extremly fast to where he seems to be teleporting, but he can actually teleport too. I don’t think Superman could even touch him tbh. Goku is freakin rigged.
I mean this is the guy who, in Super Saiyan 1 a LOOOOONG time ago when he was much weaker, was blowing up planets, and sending extremly strong enemies hurtling towards the sun.
Superman can still be killed even if it isn’t by Kyptonite. Hes not invincible.
Plus if Goku is getting his ass kicked/tired(doubt it) he could just pop a Senzu bean and now hes back to tip top shape. Oh, and lets not forget the Spirit Bomb…
Of course, Goku and Superman would never fight. They’d go get a burger. Or if they did, they wouldn’t go all out.
Perhaps then, we should be arguing who would win this: Goku/Superman vs Perfect Cell/Lex Luthor.
Goku and Supes is a top tier team fo’ sho’, but Luthor’s got that Super Armored Assist and Perfect Cell is a hard counter to Goku, so who knows.
When it comes to the dante ghost rider thing,i’m team rider, purely because if rider catches dante fight is over, while dante has no way to put him down. He can outmaneuver rider for a bit, but eventually either his chain or area of effect attacks would get him. I think one problem dante has with these debates is though he has significantly more feats than most capcom characters(aside from some darkstalkers and soon asura), the only feats his villains have is generally being beaten by Dante. Mundus has the best so far, but very little of raw power. Mephisto is in contrast to Mundus a more talk it out type,yet he has been stated to be able to take out a galaxy. i know he has years of continuity to back him up so its a bit unfair,but still showings are showings. That said i have never felt it really helps much to mention he beat this guy or that, because most of there showings are in relation to dante (weaker or stronger at a point) with no separate backings to give context. On the other hand dante himself has better physical feats than most video game characters, he has a diverse arsenal, great speed, great combat ability, a good healing factor, and impressive strength. So I tend to use what i see from him personally, and not speculation based on his enemies. I rate dante highly, just as i said ghost rider is a bad match for him because his strengths are made ineffective. Like Metallo, he kind of sucks, but he still is a bad match up for a kryptonian.
On a side note even if asuras wrath sucks, it will at least give a ton for us geeks to argue about in the future.

Video game wise? I have no clue how these characters would play. Goku would be like Ryu with a teleport, maybe. While Superman would be like Cap America+ Thor.
Perfect Cell would be sorta like Nova and Luthor like Doom.
Canon is hard to say, though. Luthor has killed Supes and Perfect Cell killed Goku.
Also, Supes would be Magneto. Disruptor = Eye Lasers. Frost Breath = Hyper Grav.
Superman would have a ground pound infinite, lex would play like a heavier sektor without a teleport.
Batman would play like Vanilla Wolverine crossed with Vanilla Phoenix and have Vanilla Lariat, Vanilla Tatsu and Sentinel Drones as his assists.
Because he’s Batman.
But Goku is way stronger than when he lost to Cell. and I’m sure Superman got bullshitted by Kryptonite.
Frost Breath freezes the foe but doesn’t suck them in. Eye Lasers is faster than disruptor but misses crouchers and small characters.
What are you talking about? The series ended after Gohan defeated Cell, didn’t it? I don’t recall it ever saying that Goku was getting stronger, he’s still dead.
Also, Supes can use his breath to suck things in or blow things away, so that could act like magnetism/repulsion.

Also actually literally looking at mkvsdc actually gives a good idea what tools he could use are, just have to be changed to fit the engine and stuff (like instead of float flight mode etc). Only his superspeed (and some bull powers he used to make up on the fly) is unrepresented(flash had that covered)

No, last saga in manga, i liked it better than the cell saga myself, reminded me of some of the better vibes given of by the original dragonball mixed with z,despite having serious moments it was lighthearted and had more mystical elements., while the cell saga was a downer(plus cell was too close to frieza in attitude sometimes) buu himself was carefree at first, typical z villain at second, and raving lunatic at the end.

The undernerf/overbuffing of Doom and Wesker make sense if you remember that back before Vanilla released when Capcom was pretending this game had a story Doom and Wesker were the main characters.
