Sorry, pal. For people who play or watch Marvel 3, and thanks to the current commentators, the term “Happy birthday” has changed its meaning into “The action of getting a solid hit on an enemy and his assist within the same action. Oftenly lead to the death of both. The failure in killing both is oftenly known as “Choking (Refer to Choking)””.
Also common occurence when a Hulk faces against Logan/Akuma pairing that is referred to as the Jwong special. The Hulk user st. H hits both of them and then proceeds to smash both of them to atoms and deals with Dark Wesker laughing as he does after every st. H and Gamma Charge. Remember, this academic lesson: Don’t rush an overtestorened 8 foot freak.
Which brings me to my question, why is the term Happy birthday being used in SFxT? Not saying “ITS a MAHVEL TERM!!!” but the combos in that game dont seem so threatening since supers are 2 bars (max/limit is 3) and dont work on two people from what I can see. The best you can get is using all three bars for a long combo and hopefully killing off the second character but that seems unlikely. Since all the health a second character loses when they get punished that way can be recovered, it doesnt seem that great.
It’s way cooler to land a solid confirm on two opponents in a Street Fighter styled game, than in Marvel 3. In this last game, any random move will grant you that.
Besides, Marvel 3 is all flashes and explosions, Street Fighter x Tekken isn’t that much like that, so you won’t be expecting picking up two enemies at the same time.
I’ve been sending a friend of mine Auto’s fat woman gifs for the past hour and we’ve been laughing at them. Then he asks me where they’re from and I say the poster won’t tell.
He comes back a few minutes later with the message
Well I think it is fair to say this thread has been a success so far. I have not laughed this hard since the old Lupinko thread. I’m heading to sleep so I’ll catch everyone later.
